If she appears for an MA (translation) then she could look at that as a viable career option. There are openings in various arms of the Government, but very limited in number. Another option is to opt for journalism and mass communication studies especially in Hindi media. It is vibrant and has huge potential.
The regular options like competitive examination also exist for her. But before you begin to advice her, make a realistic assessment of what she wants to do with her life and what is her potential. Will she willing to move to a city or a metro?
If she is not good at it, is she willing to learn to converse in English? How consistent is her desires? How much of hard work she is willing to put in? Answers to these questions would give you and your sister a fair idea of what she wants and what she is capable off.
Preparing and giving a few competitive examinations is also a good way to measure where one stands. She is young, and time is still on her side.
