100% PLACEMENTS! UNDER UGC! FOREIGN TRIPS! INTERNATIONAL FACULTY!
Haven't we suffered enough from institutes that cheat us out of good education.Speak to the HRD minister and make your voice heard.
Mr. Sibal! will you please ensure these?
1. Stop the lump sum fee collection immediately! Make it payable in monthly installments.
2. No revision midway! Announce a fee and stick to it.
3. All educational adverts must be part of the prospectus, and any lies there should be made criminally liable.
4. Give detailed break ups of Placements, Fees, Faculty, and Infrastructure!
5. One brand must mean one institution. All branches, franchises, and others must be the responsibility of the parent institution.
6. Ban unaccredited foreign institutions from opening shops in India.
7. Define 'Recognised','Affiliated','Accredited','Approved by'. All institutions must answer YES or NO with details for every one of these terms.
8. Define the type of foreign collaborations. All institutes must clearly mention them as per the norm.
9. One degree! One norm! Remove the turf war between DEC and UGC.
10. Faculties are the heart of the institute. Set a norm for their recruitment! Stick to it!

  • I think everyone is taking advantage of our education system, except students who are suffering a lot because of this kind of system, like a lot of infrastructure from government side has to put in place in education sector, but after that how they will play their poltics of reservation, and huge amount of money is going in the pocket of UGC, AICTE, HRD ministry, etc by these institution who are running their shops like any thing and student community are suffering a lot, inspite of 60 years of independence, in our IIT,IIMs we are able to absorb hardly1-2 % of people and lot of money is going outside and huge forex reserves is depleting becasue of it if in our nation more education infrastructure impoves we will be able to give a lot of empoyment to the people in education sector and save huge amount of outflow of money into oder countries we can folllow singapore who has established itself as educational hub ,,,,so can t India Do that??????????

  • I Just wanna say that how come institutions who have not achived 100 % placements in past years are declaring 100% placements . And with only 120 alloted seats by AICTE norms how 180 students pass every year. This is not the story about one institute but the case with all MBA institution. Please dont play with careers n dreams.

  • the demands mentioned will trap educational institutions in government quagmire. we need quality institutions, let market forces decide how they have to be run!government should only set guidelines to open higher institutions not interfere in their policies and day to day working. Instead govt. should start concentrating on improving and providing education at the primary school level which is in shambles and which forms the root of higher education. rest shall cure by themselves.
