About KMC Mangalore
KMC was established in 1955. Kasturba Medical College Mangalore, commonly known as KMC Mangalore is a constituent college of Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Manipal (formerly known as Manipal University). Kasturba Medical College Mangalore is recognised by the Medical Council of India (MCI), the General Medical Council of Great Britain and the Malaysian Medical Council.
KMC Mangalore was ranked 21st among the top medical colleges in India by NIRF in 2020. According to Careers360 Rankings, the college has been 4th in the medical category. In NIRF rankings 2021, KMC Mangalore has been ranked 23rd in the medical category.
The college has a total of 28 academic departments such as Departments of Anatomy, Physiology and Biochemistry. Initially, KMC Mangalore was utilising the clinical facilities of Government Wenlock Hospital and Government Lady Goschen Hospital. In 1977, KMC Mangalore became an independent unit. Life at Kasturba medical College, Mangalore
College Infrastructure
The college provides numerous facilities for students. KMC Mangalore facilities are provided to students so that they don’t feel any kind of inconvenience while they are on campus. Boys hostel, girls hostel, gym, cafeteria are some of the KMC Mangalore facilities. The college has a gym so that students can take care of their physical well being and can be active in some kind of physical activity. KMC Mangalore library covers 2025 sq meters on three floors and can accommodate 500 students

Cleanliness is maintained very well, all classes have air conditioning and are up to date with technology and design. The labs are very nicely kept, no broken or unopen things are kept here and there.

2021 neet cutoff for stg category
Hello
The NEET cut offs for the General catagory cut offs percentile is 50th and SC catagory is cut offs is 40th percentile and ST Catagory also 40th and the passing marks for the SC/ST/OBC Catagory is 137-108.
According to experts, The exam was of moderate to tough difficulty level, The NEET 2021 cut off marks for students under all categories have decreased.
