WHAT IS COMMUNICATION MANAGEMENT ?

Communication and Management are important subjects taught in courses offered in Business Communication at the undergraduate level. Students get to learn the art of systematic planning, implementation and monitoring and revision of the various channels of communication within an organisation and also between organisations. They are introduced to ways in which new communication directives are issued to personnel associated with an organisation, network or some sort of communications technology. Other aspects that students get to learn about include formulating corporate communication strategies, designing internal and external communication directives and managing the flow of information. All these are taught to make students better at formulating successful strategic PR campaigns, handling media relations and crisis better, Public Relations and Event Management and getting accustomed to the latest public affairs practices. The intention is to make students highly competent at handling all communication and business related affairs within an organisation with ease and effortlessness. One can pursue MBA in Communications Management and also Master’s in Corporate Communication Management after graduation.
