iam completed 12 iam going to take btech genetic engineering so which extra certificate coarse can I study with btech genetic engineering or which extra bachelors degree ( distance education) can I study with btech genetic engineering
Hello aspirant
It will be better if you focus on one course and do specialization in it. Because even with distance education it will be difficult to manage time.
However if you want to pursue two courses simultaneously then according to me you must go for graduation in Biotechnology as subjects will be similar and it will be easy to cope up . You can do BSC in genetic biology.
My srmjeee rank is 33245. What are my chances of getting admission for Biotechnology w/s genetic engineering??
Based on your rank these are the best colleges and branches you can get-
- SRMIST - SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai-B.Tech. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering,B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering (Software Engineering),B.Tech. in Mechatronics Engineering, B.Tech. in Biotechnology Engineering,B.Tech. in Aerospace Engineering
- SRM IST, Delhi-NCR Campus-B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering
- SRM University, Sonepat-B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering
- SRM IST Chennai, Vadapalani Campus-B.Tech. in Computer Science Engineering
my cut off mark is 54 and i am oc category will i be able to btech biotechnology or btech genetic engineering
Hello,
You have not mentioned the name of which entrance exam you have appeared. if you are asking about JEE mains then chances are low until and unless you have reservation category else you have to look for private institute providing BTech/BE in Biotechnlogy or genetic engineering.
for other engineering entrance like KEAM, KCET, they consider your 12th score along with entrance score. so your final score will decide for which branch you will be eligible for.
for Open category, cutoff will be even less from Home state quota general category which means chances are still less.
it would be better to wait until final score/rank. After you receive your rank, decide for which branch and college option you will be eligible.
Hope it helps!
