The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will hold the Engineering Services Examination for recruitment to various posts of the Indian Engineering Service.

Eligibility:
- degree in Engineering from a recognised University/institute OR
- passed Section A and B of the Institution Examinations of the Institution of Engineers (India); OR
- passed Graduate Membership Examination of the Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineers (India); OR
- passed Associate Membership Examination Parts II and III/Sections A and B of the Aeronautical Society of India; OR
- passed Graduate Membership Examination of the Institution of Electronics and Radio Engineers, London held after November, 1959
Age: 21 years and must not have attained the age of 30 years on the 1st August, 2010
How to apply: Common Application form may be purchased from the designated Head Post Offices/Post Offices throughout the country against cash payment of Rs.20/-. An application fee of Rs.100 through a single Central Recruitment Fee stamp must be obtained from the post office and affixed on the application form in the space provided therein. Duly filled in application should be sent to the address given below.
