TERI University announces the launch of a new 2 year programme: MA (Sustainable Development Practice)
Total Seats: 35
Eligibility: An undergraduate degree (Honours or equivalent) in a related field of study (environmental sciences, engineering, economics, social sciences, health sciences and law) from an internationally recognised institution with atleast 60% marks in aggregate. Appropriate English language proficiency.
Selection process: On the basis of a statement of purpose and past academic performance. Selected candidates will be called for a personal interview in the first week of June.
Sponsored candidates: Candidates working in the Industry/Government are encouraged to apply for the full-time Masters in (SDP). Upto two seats can be reserved in each programme for such candidates.
Scholarships: The MacArthur Foundation would provide 5 scholarships to eligible candidates. The scholarships would be available only to foreign students. The scholarship would only include tuition fee and the scholarship holders would be required to take care of their travel and lodging themselves.
How to apply:
- Application can be requested by post by sending a demand draft for Rs.550/- drawn in favour of the Registrar, TERI University payable at Delhi.
- Application can also be downloaded from the website and sent along with the DD.
- Online application process is also available. Registration charges for online application is Rs.1250/-.
Important dates:
- Last date for submission of application form is 28 April, 2010
- Personal interview on 29 May, 2010 at New Delhi
- Programme starts on 15 July 2010
