FOUNDED in 1967, the Goa Engineering College is the oldest one in the state, and the one with the largest library and campus. Goa has three more institutes, one of which offers Architecture. Admission procedure
Candidates must complete 10+2 through Higher Secondary School Certificate exam by Goa Board of Education or its equivalent with 50% (40% for SC, ST, OBC) aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics. One must also be a resident of Goa. The Directorate of Technical Education conducting GCET, reserves 46% of seats for SC/ST/others as per rules.
