    • Engineering and Bihar. these are two words which are synonymous. Not to say that if we calculate representation of Bihar in engineering colleges of India, it will be around 30-35%, which is not a small figure. every year thousands of students of Bihar enter the private engineering colleges in Karnatka, Tamilnadu, Maharashtra etc. apart from hundreds of which go to NITs and IITs. And after reading the above article, a smile comes to my lips. Only 2500 seats, that too shared by students all over india. When it comes to students appearing for engg. entrance exams, Bihar is standing at first in the queue yet there are only 2 centers for AIEEE exam here. Does not all these indicate towards the negligence of governments (be it at centre or at the state) towards the engineering brains of the state? In my opinion, governments and private institutions should come up with more and more colleges so as to do justice with students of Bihar.
