    Design of Buildings, Quantity surveying supervision of construction of high rise buildings, Technical buildings, along with services like roads, water supply and sewage treatment, etc. Exposure to Computers for Computer Aided Design and Construction Technology is desirable.

    Installation, testing, commissioning, operation and maintenance of 11 KV substations, DG sets, Electrical panel boards, UPS systems, Automatic voltage stabilizers, etc Electrification of buildings including lighting, power, smoke detection systems and lightning protection schemes for conventional and hazardous buildings. Familiarisation with modern project management software packages and electrical safety codes.

    Pay scale: Rs.15600-39100/- + Grade Pay Rs.5400

    Eligibility:

    • Candidates applying for Civil and Electrical disciplines should possess BE/B.Tech/B.Sc.,(Engg) in Civil / Electrical or Electrical and Electronics in First Class with an aggregate minimum of 65% (average of all semesters /years for which results are available).
    • For Architecture, candidates should possess a Bachelor degree in Architecture with first class with an aggregate minimum of 65% and be registered with Council of Architecture (Registration certificate to be produced at the time of Interview).

    Note: Final semester/year students are also eligible to apply provided the aggregate of all the previous (including Pre-final) semester/years as indicated above and the final Degree result is available by October 30, 2010.

    Age: 35 years

    Selection process: Selection will in addition to apply for the post be based on biodata and initial screening will be conducted to short-list candidates for Interview. The short listed candidates will then be intimated to attend the interview.

    Note: Candidates attending the interview will be reimbursed to and fro second-class train fare by the shortest route from the address given in the application to the place of interview.

    How to apply: Candidates can apply online at ISRO website from August 17, 2010 to September 8, 2010.  There will be an application fee of Rs.100 for each application in the form of DD from any of the nationalized bank in favour of ‘The Sr. Accounts Officer, ISRO HQ, Bangalore’ payable at Bangalore.
