Duration of training: 1 ½ years (18 months)
Note: No reduction or increase in the period of training is permissible
Stipend during training: Rs. 9300 per month (consolidated)

i) SSC(10 years) with not less than 50% marks in Science & Mathematics individually + 2 years ITI certificate in the field of Electrician, Fitter, Millwright Fitter, Mechanic Machine Tool Maintenance and for the trades for which the duration of the ITI course is less than 2 years, the candidates should have atleast one year relevant working experience after completion of the course.
ii) Should have had English as one of the Subjects at least at SSC level Examination. |
Age: Candidates should be between 18 to 24 years as on November 1, 2010 to apply.

Duration of training: 2 years
Stipend during training: Rs. 6200/- p.m. (consolidated) for first year, Rs. 7200/- p.m. (consolidated) for second year
Physical Standards: (i) Minimum height 160cm; For Category 1 & 2 (ii) Minimum weight 45.5.kgs (100lbs)
Note: The above standards are relaxable by the Head of the Unit in highly deserving cases.
