• ISAT-2011: Join IIST and work for ISRO

  • Indian Institute of Space Sceince and Technology,  Thiruvananthapuram announces admission to its B.Tech programmes in Aerospcae Engineering, Avionics and Physical Sciences.

    Admission to these programmes is based on a test 'ISAT' conducted by IIST. Assistance is provided to all B.Tech students to cover the cost of education, boarding, lodging and health care.

    On successful completion of the course with prescribed academic standards, students will be absorbed in ISRO to work as Scientists or Engineers.

    Important Dates:

    • Date of ISAT-2011: April 16, 2011 (time- 9:30 to 12:30 hrs)
    • Online Registrations begin: November 01, 2010

  • Ok got it!!!!....since the inception of IIST,limited careers for Aerospace Engineering students in India.Even students from IITs who completed their B.tech in Aerospace have to hung dry for jobs in Govt. sector.Perhaps the worst is that India is not in the list of private companies for Aeronautics related.So, beware of doing Aerospace engineering in any colleges neither in NITS nor IITs except in these Prestiguous IIST,so that your future get secured.
