    Eligibility:

    • Candidates (both Fresher & Deputed) with at least 50% marks either in Bachelor's Degree and / or in Master's Degree in Arts/ Science/Fine Arts/Music/ Commerce or any other qualification equivalent thereto, will be eligible for application.
       
    • In case of Bachelor's Degree, 50% marks may be determined either on the basis of Honours marks only or on the basis of Honours marks & the marks of elective subjects taken together, if necessary.
       
    • Candidates (both Fresher & Deputed) belonging to SC/ST category having at least 40% marks either in Bachelor's Degree (i.e. for the candidates having Honours degree only) and / or in Master's Degree in Arts/ Science/Fine Arts/Music/Commerce or having at least 37.5% marks in Bachelor's Degree (i.e. for the candidates of General courses only) will be eligible for application.
       
    • Candidates (both Fresher & Deputed) belonging to PH category with at least 45% marks either in Bachelor's Degree and / or in Master's Degree in Arts/ Science/Fine Arts/Music/ Commerce or any other qualification equivalent thereto, will be eligible for application. In case of Bachelor's Degree, 45% marks may be determined either on the basis of Honours marks only or on the basis of Honours marks & the marks of elective subjects taken together, if necessary.

    Age limit: 35 years as on 30th June, 2012, for Fresher candidates. 40 years as on 30th June, 2012, for Fresher candidates belonging to PH category.

    Reservation: As per rules. 5% seats of the Fresher candidates in each College will be allotted for the candidates of other than Burdwan University.

    How to apply: Application form & information sheet will be available on website ()  from March 3, 2012 to March 26, 2012 (from 11am to 2.30 pm), only on working days at the Sales & Info. Unit, B.U. Rajbati, and other BEd colleges (Except Dept. of Education, B.U.). Click here to view list of colleges.

    Candidate has to pay Rs.300 as application fee.

    Duly filled in form is to be submitted latest by March 26, 2012 (upto 3 pm), from where the form was issued. In case it was purchased from the Sales & Info Unit, B.U. Rajbati, it shall be submitted to the counter of receiving section, Rajbati, B.U.
