N.E.S.T scholarships: Science, Medical & Engg students
The S. U. Foundation of india in association with SEMCI (India) conducts a Nationwide Education and Scholarship Test (NEST) The purpose of conduoting a series of such periodical tests is to ignite students‘ interest in pursuing accurate knowledge and to prepare them for competitive skills, such as CAT. GATE. GRE. TOEFL and various other tests for admissions to higher studies in good institutes as well as for jobs in reputed companies.

Exam: 9th Nationwide Education and Scholarship Test (N.E.S.T.) - 2013

Conducted by: SEMCI (India), Mumbai, flag-bearer of the SU Foundation of India

Benefits:
- Atleast 20 scholarships worth Rs.25,000 to Rs.50,000.
- Certificates of Appreciation are also awarded to all high scoring candidates in the test with All India Ranking (AIR).
About the test: N.E.S.T comprises of two exams for 2 different categories

NEST-I
Eligibility: Only for First Year and Second Year Degree Engineering, BCA, MBBS, ESc (all) and Final Year Diploma Engineering students
Cash Awards: 5 awards of Rs. 15.000 each along with Rs. 25.000 for the highest scorer in this category

NEST-ll
Eligibility: Only for Third Year and Final Year Degree Engineering, BCA. MBBS, BSO (Comp/ IT) students
Cash Awards: 5 awards of Rs. 25,000 each along with Rs. 40,000 for the highest scorer in this category

Note: Certiﬁcates of Appreciation will be issued to all the candidates, who score above 40% aggregate of all the ﬁve sections of the test.

Details of scholarship
The scholarships are awarded based on merit in an online test of 3 hours for 250 questions of 1 mark each spread over 5 sections, viz.

1.NEST I :Physics & Chemistry;

NEST II :Technical groups: Choose any one A/B/C/D as mentioned below
- A = Comp/lT/Elex/Telecom/Elect:
- E = Mech/Prod/Auto/Instr;
- C = Civil/Cons/Arch.
- D = Medical (MBBS).
2.Maths/Biology
3.General English
4.Simple Logic
5.General Knowledge
