I have completed my B.tech and have 12 months work ex in educational sector. I wish to pursue my Mba.Will i be able to crack the PI
Its perfectly alright. As long as you are able to answer questions on your work experience, things should be fine. Do make up a story aroud why you moved on to education sector in case this question pops up in the interview.
All the best!
Gaurav yes definitely you can crack out your interview of any b-school. It all depends on how you actually answer their questions of various fields. It's an unnecessary argument that you have done engineering and worked in the other field so you are not eligible for pursuing MBA. You are definitely eligible, only thing is to be prepared to answer questions about your work is done. Show them that you were really interested in this field, have worked passionately and have learnt a lot, grown up yourself while working there. That's all every interviewee looks in a candidate during an MBA interview along with his personality and different field knowledge.
For your plus point let me tell you that I completed my B.Tech from IIT Roorkee, I also worked in an education sector(it wasn't related to teaching but yeah I was working in education sector in a different way) and I successfully cleared IIM Kozhikode interview in 2016 (along with this also cleared lots of other b-school interviews but this was best one for me). And there was no problem regarding working in the different sector but yeah they drilled me on my work-done which I responded in a good way.
So, don't worry and prepare well. Feel free to ask if you have any more queries. All the best!!
