There's no minimum percentage requirement in English in your class 12th examination to be eligible for Neet , but yes you need to pass your English examination in your class 12th board examination .Actually it's your aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology which is considered to decide your eligibility for neet examination. You can check the neet eligibility criteria provided below :-

  • You must have passed or should be appearing for class 12th examination with at least Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English as your subjects .

  • You need to get at least 50 % aggregate in pcb in your class 12th board examination from a recognized board if you belong to general category ; while it's only 40% aggregate in pcb for obc, sc and st categories , 45 % aggregate in pcb for pwd category.

  • To be eligible for Neet 2020 you need to be at least 17 years old or more by December 31st, 2020 .

How to get under 100 rank in neet ug 2020??is ncert sufficient for this?

apuroop sri durgesh 9th Dec, 2019

Hello Kumar, there is no provisional way to get some sort of specific rank in any kind of exam, all you can do is to target for the best by preparing. How much preparation goes into, the same output you get for it. The MCQ's in NEET are mostly based on NCERT theory, however by solving some mock tests and previous years papers, you can get an estimate of what is being asked, you can opt for books by checking the link https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/best-books-for-neet .

Hope this helps.

Thank you.
