AOT Hooghly Course Admission 2024 - Fees, Date, Cutoff & Eligibility

Academy of Technology, Hooghly offers admission at both UG and PG level to the interested candidates. Academy of Technology, on the basis of candidate’s performance in the respective entrance examinations, offers seats to the candidates. In the B.Tech programme of Academy of Technology, students are admitted from WBJEE and JEE Mains merit list through counselling. Lateral admission in the B.Tech 2nd year will be made from JELET at Academy of Technology, Hooghly. At the postgraduate level, an MCA programme is offered by Academy of Technology, Hooghly and the admissions are on the basis of JECA, conducted by the State Joint Entrance Board.

Academy of Technology, Hooghly offers admission in the B.Tech programme at the undergraduate level in a total of 6 disciplines. To secure admission in any of these programmes at Academy of Technology, the candidates are required to appear in the entrance test. In all the B.Tech courses, students are admitted on the basis of merit position in the Joint Entrance Examination of the State (WBJEE) and All India Joint Entrance Examination and the admissions in the B.Tech programme through lateral entry provision, will be conducted on the basis of the merit position in West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination for Lateral Entry (JELET).

• Candidates will be required to meet the minimum eligibility criteria. 

• Candidates will need to appear in the entrance examination. 

• Candidates will need to appear in the Counselling process and must apply for Academy of Technology, Hooghly.

Academy of Technology, Hooghly offers admission in the MCA programme at the postgraduate level. To secure admission in this programme at Academy of Technology, the candidates are required to appear in the entrance test. For the MCA course, admission will be made on the basis of the merit position of the candidate in the Joint Entrance Examination for Admission to the Master in Computer Application (JECA) which will be conducted by MAKAUT.

• Candidates will need to meet the eligibility criteria.

• Candidates must appear for the JECA entrance examination.

• Candidates must apply for Academy of Technology, Hooghly through its official website. 

• Candidates must appear for the counselling process.

• Candidates must get their documents verified and must pay the fees. 

Academy of Technology, Hooghly Documents Required

• Original and one photocopy Admit Card of respective Joint Entrance Examination 

(WBJEE/JEE MAIN/JECA/JELET).

• Original Allotment Letter received from the respective reporting centre issued by WBJEE Board with photocopy (an extra copy of the letter should be retained by the candidates for future use).

• Rank Card of respective Joint Entrance Examination. 

• Self attested photocopies of 10th, 12th, diploma marksheet (for lateral admission) and graduation marksheet (for MCA students) along with the original one. 

•  Self attested copy of 10th admit card or certificate of respective board as a proof of age along with the original document.

• Self attested school leaving/character certificate, issued by the head of Institution last attended. 

• Photocopy of Aadhaar Card.

• University Migration/Registration certificate for MCA students. 

• Documentary evidence of guardians in support of address proof. 

• Documentary evidence in support of address and family income. 

• Two stamp size and one passport size coloured photographs.

• Medical certificates (as asked by Academy of Technology, Hooghly).

• Domicile certificate duly signed by the Head of the institute last attended.
