College infrastructure, as of 2021,has definitely improved alot since I joined in 2018. Earlier, there was a single 5 floored building having multiple room on each floor. As of right now, the building infrastructure has improved and expanded alot. Some classrooms have air conditioning and smart board. The wifi provided is very bad though. Library is very old and has mostly outdated academic books. Toilets are not very clean, but are usable. Since it's a five floored building, we do have a lift.
I am B.Com(Honours) fifth semester student. I joined this college because of the location being close to my house. The quality of teaching isn't very good. Professors aren't very much focused on the studies. Some of the professors are very friendly though. The curriculum is mostly governed by the Calcutta University, so the college has no control over it. I believe, the curriculum does get its updates, but it's still not good enough. Getting a degree still doesn't make you job ready though.
This college doesn't really have alot of placements. To be honest, there are no placements. Some of the placement offers this college gets is from lower paying companies. There is also the government youth employment scheme that is offered.
As of 2021, the annual fees is Rs. 13000 per year. I feel like the amount of money I am paying, the value for money ratio isn't very good. There are other colleges that have lesser fees and better infrastructure, but since the infrastructure here has improved alot, I think it fair. The location of the college is in a pretty posh area, that factors in as well. I believe in coming years, this college can get alot better with consistent effort of the faculty.
We do have area where we can sit and chill. Outside the college, there are alot of food stalls that serve dosas, chola bhature, tea and other food items. Some people play a bit of cricket. I think post covid lockdown, the campus probably has improved. Some teachers are very much friendly and cool, some are strict and obnoxious. Support staff is okay. The location of the college is near a business location, so it's pretty posh. The college is very close to a bridge, so the safety is an issue.
Overall, the college is decent. It's not something out of Karan Johar movie. It's just a normal undergrad college with basic college life. The students that come to this college aren't the extremely rich class of people, rather they come from middleclass or lowerclass families.
yes it have library and canteen.. the food there is very hygenic.. they don't provide hostel facility but we have WiFi in our campus. We have space for sports and the classroom are quite airy we get fresh air and sunlight
I have done my bachelor's in commerce and the quality of teaching is very good.. hosts are friendly and cooperative.. there are very good teachers and the management is also very helpful .. we have grievance redressal center too
They provide good placement.. approx 80% students got placements.. we have companies like tata tcs wipro and the highest salary was 30000.. it was good and the selection process was also good and mang students got their placement
I had paid 40000 for my course and yes it is money worthy
warm, welcome, wonderful hosts. They made me feel like I am part of their family. All of my classes were perfect. Teachers are wonderful, the environment is really good and i still miss our canteen.. thankyou ajc bolse college .. i really enjoyed studying there..
Fully equipped and well managed classroom and infrastructure... Hygienic and clean classrooms and labs.. Food is quite good and cleanliness is top priority... College is well maintained and quite good....
I am studying in bachelor of commerce department honours section in accountancy major.. The quality of teaching is superior.. Teachers are quite friendly and helpful.. They always keep every student update with recent changes in study
Seminars are organised very often... The certificates are also given for attending the seminars and will add value to our resume in future... They offer a package of around 5 lacs per annum... College is really concerned about the students' future.
Fees structure is different for each year.. Every academic year fees has been increased.. But it is worth paying here... As college always try to engage students in something new which adds value to our personality
College campus is pretty wide and well maintained.. It is located in Lord Sinha Road near exide. The place is safe and various hospitals and other emergencies infrastructure is located here... Students are really helpful and are of friendly nature
It is a good college which values its students culture and enhance the personality on regular basis
College lacks in modern facilities like introduction of smart board etc . The college libraries doesn't comprise of necessary books for all streams , mostly the college canteen food is not much hygienic .
I am Studying Chemistry Honours (3rd Year) , the quality of teaching at the college is not up to the mark as the teachers doesn't put in much effort at a times . The curriculum is not much updated and it doesn't include much of the recent developments in the field
There are campassing facility in our college. Job fair held our college. There are job opportunity on our college. Many companies came to our college for choosing candidates. Most of the people got job from our college.
