    Acharya Polytechnic, Bangalore is a self-financed polytechnic established in 1990. The private college is part of Acharya Institutes and runs under the JMJ Education Society. Acharya Polytechnic is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and the Directorate of Technical Education-Govt Of Karnataka. It is also accredited by the NBA Washington Accord. Acharya Polytechnic offers full-time 3-year diploma programmes in the fields of technology, engineering and non-engineering fields. Acharya Polytechnic diploma courses are available in different 11 specialisations from mechanical engineering to mining engineering and fashion technology. 

    Admission into Acharya Polytechnic courses is provided based on the performance of the candidates in the qualifying examination. To equip students with more insight into industry and skills, the college also conducted industrial visits, practical workshops, seminars and webinars. Placement Cell is in charge of the Acharya Polytechnic placements and internships. It provides needed training sessions for students to attend the placement drive confidently and get placed. The polytechnic provides modern infrastructure for students as well as the faculties. The Acharya Polytechnic facilities include hostels, laboratories, seminar halls, library and sports facilities.
