Outdoor: Well constructed BGS Stadium for outdoor activities like Cricket, Football, Athletics, Volleyball, Kabbadi etc is available. Indoor: Facilities for Badminton, Table Tennis, Chess, Carrom etc are available.
The Medical College has excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.
State of the Art Canteen facilities available to provide good and hygienic food products. Both South Indian and North Indian cuisines are available.
An aesthetically built centrally air-conditioned Auditorium with a seating capacity of 2000 with a span 2986 sq mts. It has sprawling stage fitted with motorized screens with effective sound and light systems.
AIMS owns 4 buses to ferry students from the hostels to the hospital and to other peripheral rural health centers for the purposes of teaching and training programmes. 3 vans are available for the staff and the students who provide community healthcare services. 5 ambulances are attached to AH & RC, which are made available round-the-clock, and each one of them is equipped with cardiopulmonary resuscitators with trained and qualified medical and paramedical staff, emergency drugs and oxygen cylinder. Being a referral hospital, the ambulance service is made use of to bring the patients from the neighboring hospitals and districts. Educational tours are conducted periodically by using the college omnibus services.
The primary objective of AIMS Alumni Association is to establish contact among the old students and meet periodically. The alumni also helps the Association and the Institution in many ways. The Alumni Association is the best platform for students who have passed out of the college and have settled in different parts of India and abroad to come together to share their ideas & thoughts with each other. Scientific meetings and CME’s are held where research findings and new technology adoption in the medical field are discussed and debated. Social get-together is organized annually or bi-annually on a fixed date and month. The Alumni help the deserving and needy students of AIMS Medical College financially or otherwise and assist postgraduate students in going abroad as considered feasible by the Association. Arrangement are made by the Association for any guest lecturers by the alumni. Public Education Programme in various disciplines of medicine, healthcare camps in slums and rural areas are organized with the assistance of the alumni.

Every depatment has a comprehensively equipped and well maintained independent laboratory featuring high-tech instruments, where diagnostic procedures are carried out on par with prescribed international standards. Eligibility: 17 years of age or above as on 31-Dec of the admission year. The maximum age limit to Study MBBS course is 25 years. All Higher Secondary School Students with 10+2 in science stream including biology or biotechnology along with Physics and Chemistry with a minimum of 50% marks are eligible(In case of SC/ST, 40% in board exams; 45% for OBC Category)
Admission Procedure: It is compulsory for medical enthusiasts to appear for the National Eligibility and Entrance Examination (NEET) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) after 12th grade who wish to get MBBS admission. All the Government, Private, Central and Deemed Universities will be based on NEET scores and the seats for all colleges / institutions / universities will be offered through counselling based on the eligibility Score/Rank, Preferences of colleges and seats available.
