AIT Chikmagalur Course Admission 2024 - Fees, Date, Cutoff & Eligibility

The admission at AIT Chikmagalur is merit-based and the candidates need to appear for the entrance examinations declared by the AIT Chikmagalur. The admissions are given in the degrees of Ph.D. M.Sc, B.E/B.Tech, M.E/M.Tech and MBA.

Eligibility for Undergraduate

• Students who have passed the 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the subjects Chemistry /Computer Science / Electronics/ Biotechnology / Biology, with at least 45% of marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category as per Government order) in the above subjects taken together.

• For Lateral Entry to the second year of Bachelor of Engineering (B.E) the candidate should have passed the diploma examination from an AICTE-approved institution, with at least 45% marks in the final year examination (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the appropriate branch of Engineering / Technology.

• For admission under the management quota, students should compulsorily appear in KCET/COMEDK/JEE mains or any other entrance test for the professional program.

Eligibility for Postgraduate

• For the ME/M.Tech program, the candidate should have passed BE/ B.Tech or any equivalent examination with an aggregate of a minimum of 50% marks.

• The candidate should have appeared for the entrance examination as prescribed by the AIT Chikmagalur

• For admission to the Master of Business Administration (MBA) Program, the candidates shall have passed the prescribed qualifying examinations with not less than 50% of the marks in aggregate of all the years/semesters of the degree examinations. PGCET Score is a must for government quota students.

Eligibility for Doctoral

• The candidate should possess a master’s degree in the relevant subject from a recognised university with an aggregate of a minimum of 50% marks

AIT Chikmagalur Application Process

• Go to the official website of the institute and register on the website by signing up.

• Once you register, you will need to login with your credentials.

• You will be redirected to an application form. Start filling out your application form carefully.

• Upload all the necessary documents such as 10th and12th marksheets, domicile certificate, character certificate, and the scorecard of JEE/KCET/COMEDK/PGCET entrance examination (whichever is applicable)

• Upload your passport-size photograph, along with your signature.

• Once you've completed the application form, you'll need to pay the application fee. You can do this using online methods like net banking, credit/debit card, or other available online options.

• Take a printout of the application form for future reference.
