The library was established during the year 1965. New premises were occupied on 28th September 1994. The modern library center funded by AHRDP as an annex to the main library was declared open on 23rd July 2001 for students browsing centers.

The college has a boy’s hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students.

The college has a girl's hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students.

In 1965, the Agriculture College, Madurai was established and Physical Education Unit was started in the year 1971. During the 1976’s, When there was no swimming pool in and around the temple city, the renowned college had the swimming pool facility along with the outdoor stadium having the seating capacity of 800 spectators. The total area provided for the ground is 9 acres which include all the court with the separate facilities for both boys and girls to play.
