Al Kabir Polytechnic, Jamshedpur offers various infrastructural facilities to the students and faculty such as a library with a collection of books, canteen to serve food to the students and faculty, separate hostels for boys and girls, conference room that can be used to conduct conferences, meetings, seminars. Various other facilities like girls' common rooms, wi-fi, etc are also available for them.
- Library: The Library has a mixed collection of both print and electronic formats, which include books, journals, databases, CDs/DVDs, e-journals, reports, etc.
- Canteen: The college has a cafeteria available for the students and faculty that serves food to them at reasonable rates.
- Hostel: AKP has a separate hostel for boys and girls with other facilities such as water cooler, wi-fi, etc. Warden is also available to take care of the students.
- Conference Room: Various seminars, presentations, conferences, film screenings, theatre and cultural performances, etc are conducted in the conference room of AKP.
- Sports: AKP provides sports facilities and encourages them to participate in indoor and outdoor games for their physical and mental well being.
- Boys Hostel
The College has two distinct and separate hostels, each divided into four blocks. It provides a home-like environment for the growth and development of its residents, ensuring at the same time attributes of discipline, care, concern, and conscientious disposition. It has accommodation for one hundred and fifty students in both the hostels. The Hostel provides accommodation during the operative academic session. The hostel has a Generator facility to provide a backup power supply. Every block of the hostel is equipped with water coolers. The hostels have security guards around the clock. The Hostel has a well-maintained garden and a small orchard. An ambulance is provided in case of emergency. There is a separate Library facility for the residents.

- Library
The College has a Central Library known as Sir Syed Library which serves as the perennial source of knowledge for the students as well as faculty members. Our Library is well equipped and well managed. Our library provides reading materials in accordance with the curriculum of various disciplines to help students to grasp knowledge for examination purposes besides their general mental development. Books: A very rich collection of books are maintained with a total collection of 15835 books. The collection is growing day by day on various current and emerging technologies related to various streams. Two books are issued to a student for 15 days. Ten books can be issued by Faculties.
- Sports
The college has sports facilities for all students. Dr. A. K. Ghosh Memorial Cricket Tournament is conducted every year during winter. Dr. A.K Ghosh was one of the founder members of Al-Kabir Polytechnic and has inspired many people so in his honor a cricket tournament is organized every year. Not only cricket, other sports like Athletics, Football, Volleyball, and Table Tennis tournaments are also conducted on the college premises.
- I.T Infrastructure
The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students. The Department of Computer Science & Engineering has a state-of-the-art lab with over 260 computers installed with the latest hardware and software. There are five labs equipped with the latest computing hardware and peripherals. The computer labs are equipped with i5, i3, Core2Duo, Dual-Core processors, Scanners, Laser Printers, and the latest software like Microsoft Office 2007, Oracle with Developer 2000, Visual Studios, C++ & Java, etc. All the computer labs are in-network with the internet. Information and resource sharing use a dedicated Microsoft Windows Server 2003 & Linux Server. Hardware and networking lab provides maximum hands-on practical training opportunities.
- Cafeteria
The College has a canteen which is the part and parcel of the students on the campus. Students may take a bite and carry on with their work. Snacks, tea, and brewages are served to students as well as staff members at a subsidized rate. The canteen has a large floor area for the students to relax. The canteen is situated at the back, of the campus. Pass-out students have a nostalgic feeling for this place. The canteen is privately run and is well managed.

College Infrastructure
It has all the necessary facilities like libraries, laboratories of different departments, WiFi, smartBoards, seminar hall, etc. It have also 10 acres of separate playgrounds for sports and tournaments and also has an auditorium. Living space is clean and food is hygienic.

Al Kabir polytechnic have all the necessary infrastructure, facilities infrastructure. Al Kabir have smart classes and all branches laboratory have advance Technology Engineering equipment's all the labs and smart classes are well maintained. Alkabir have smart also a smart library so you can access authentic information from library computer center of any book any publisher, writer. Alkabir polytechnic heve also 10 acres seperate play ground for sports and tournaments. AL-Kabir have auditorium.
