- Library
The college has a Central Library is the hub of the Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeeth, Amritapuri Campus. It is a Learning Resource Centre and supports the teaching and learning activities of all the Students, Research Scholars, Faculty Members, and all other staff members on this campus. The Central Library has a carpet area of 1500 square meters. The Library follows an open access system. It has separate sections like spacious stack area, Circulation Counter, Information Desk, Digital Library, Periodical section, a Reference section, Acquisition Section, Technical Section, WiFi-enabled Reading halls for boys and girls. Collection development is one of the main roles to satisfy the need of the end-users. Each year an average of 3500 selected books are added to the collection. Likewise, important journals and online databases are also added to the collection. Central Library has signed an MOU with Delnet, New Delhi. The Library maintains its web page for up to date information to its users.

The college has a One day in the even semester is devoted to competitions in sports where students get the opportunity to exhibit their talents in athletics and games. The facilities provided by the campus help create a healthy spirit of competitiveness in these events.

College Infrastructure
we have several computer labs which holds a great capacity with well equipped wifi all around the campus we also have a gym, volley ball court, basketball courts etc the hostels are pretty basic ones but they will be maintained well.
It's a good option for aspiring engineers .

College Infrastructure
College infrastructure is so good!! Hostels and classrooms are all well maintained. Our college got a huge library with a wide collection of books( both research oriented and normal books). Sport centre is not that good actually!!
I enjoyed lot in the campus and performing well.

I enjoyed lot in the campus . There are lot of games and every year there will be spots meet this is open for every student in the campus. every place in the campus will be very clean and hygienic. there will be assigned one faculty for every activity in campus.
How can I get the B.Tech (Computer Science) seat in management quota in Amrita ?
Hello aspirant,
There is a management quota you can join only if you have given a written eligibility test conducted by Amrita University. Without an entrance exam, chances are very less. Selection of seats in this quota is mostly done based on board marks.

You can easily get a seat in any of the branches and campuses that you wish for. 300th-ish rank is a pretty good rank. You can easily get branches like CSE ( 2017 cut off at Coimbatore 1817), ECE ( 2017 can't of at Coimbatore 2747), Mechanical Engineering ( cut off 3217), EEE ( cut off 4051).
Besides you are eligible for any branch and campus. The basis of the above analysis is the previous years AEEE data.

Dear Aspirant,
to pursue MTech in Thermal and Fluid Science at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham , you will need to have minimum marks in your under graduation as well have a good score in your GATE Examinations.
To avail admission without GATE score interested candidates are required to apply online, following which some will be shortlisted for a personal interview. After which those candidates who were successful in their interview are selected for admission.
The course for MTech in Thermal and Fluid Science is for a duration of two years and the total fees to paid for the two years is INR 3.23 Lakhs.
With respect to placements, students are offered a median package of INR 4.8 Lakhs.
