ACE Salem Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college has two separate hostels for boys inside the campus. The respective messes attached to the hostels provide hygienic and quality food. R/O drinking water is supplied, Spacious outdoor and indoor games facilities are provided for the students. A Qualified Medical officer visits the hostels thrice a week to take care of the health of the students. There are separate generators as standby for the supply of electricity continuously. A vehicle in a hostel for emergency use is in place on a 24/7 basis.

The college has Power Gym for both boys and girls with facilities such as Bench Press, Tumbles, etc. The institution has a gym for boys and girls. The gym facility is opened from 6 AM to 8 AM in the morning and 5.30 PM to 7.30 PM in the evening including Sundays & holidays.

The College Central Library is the heart of any Institution. The Central Library of college serves as a powerhouse of knowledge and also serves as a resource center with a comprehensive collection of books and journals useful for the faculty and students of the institute and provides an efficient dissemination of knowledge. The Central Library is located in a spacious block of 755 sq.m. with a fully computerized Digital System of adopting an “open access” system which enables the readers to go to bookshelves and select books and other resources by themselves freely. There are more than 7865 Titles and 19784 volumes of books available for usage and subscribes 100 current journals at the national and international level as print copies to cover a wide range of engineering subjects to facilitate users to access current academic and research literature. It has computerized all its housekeeping activities using Library software AUTOLIB that is being maintained and updated regularly. This enables users in searching and availing the of library resources. Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) facility is being followed and all the transactions are automated to save the precious time of the students. The unique feature of Central Library is its total utilization.

The college has a Physical Director to train both boys and girls. Specific sporting events are held on the sports day every year. The institution encourages the students to take part in university, district, and state sports and games.

The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students. COMPUTING FACILITIES: Air – Conditioned Central Computer Centre with 450 computers, 15 MBPS internet connectivity, Wi-Fi Enabled Campus, Free Auto – CAD Training and free CNC.

The college has a canteen facility for staff and students. Hygienic Mess and Canteen.

The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.

The college has frequent transportation facilities to the College by public service buses from Salem Town, Sankari, and other surrounding places. In order to facilitate easy access to the college, the college runs fifteen buses for students and staff from Salem, Namakkal and etc. Our transport facilities ensure that our students and staff are able to reach college on time.
