Apeejay Saraswati PG College for Girls, Bhiwani Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The Hostel of the college is well-furnished, with spacious and ventilated rooms, dining hall, common room and guest room. All the hostel rooms are fully furnished with beds, study tables, chairs and cupboards, and are equipped with ceiling fans and lights. R.O.., Water Cooler and Geyser facility are also available. The Hostel has 24-hours’ security arrangements with a fully trained guard at the main entrance and round-the-clock vigil around the campus. It has provisions for indoor and outdoor games like Badminton, Table Tennis Chess, and color T.V. Set which beams various channels enables the hostlers to get ample entertainment. The hostel provides a healthy and homely atmosphere. The food served in the hostel mess is hygienic and nutritious. Resident students are required to abide by the rules and regulations of the hostel.

The Health Center of the college caters to the day-scholars as well as hostlers.

A multipurpose Gymnasium with the latest training equipment is another facility provided to the students and staff members. They can train themselves in various games and exercises to remain mentally and physically fit. Jogger, Butter-Fly, Twister, and Cycle are some of the health equipment present in the gym.

The Library is the pillar and pride of any educational institution. Presently the library of the college has a unique collection of 17470 books on various subjects and topics. It subscribes to various magazines, journals and newspapers both in English and Hindi. A plethora of books have been added to enrich the library stock. The library has all the facilities to develop reading habits among the students. The library has a spacious reading room having a seating capacity of about 200 students.

Sports not only channelizes the surplus energies of the students by reducing their academic stress but constitute one of the cornerstones in building up a complete personality, and the college extends ample sporting facilities to its students to help them realize this goal. An athletic track, a multipurpose sports arena, and facilities for other outdoor and indoor games are provided to the students. Regular contests/games/matches are arranged and the most capable and fittest of the players are selected to represent the institute in various competitions held outside the college.

The college has two spacious and well-furnished computer labs. The labs are fully air-conditioned. There are 100 systems in the lab equipped with the latest technology and software that cater to the college curriculum. Internet facility is also available for the students. The college also has Overhead LCD Projectors that are used for Seminars and Extension Lectures organized within the campus.

A refreshingly beautiful and well-kept cafeteria is present in the College to cater to the students’ taste buds. The atmosphere inside is heart-warming and relaxing. It has a modern, comfortable, aesthetically planned seating arrangement. Both quality and quantity is its utmost priority. The cafeteria is a neat and tidy place to have the best of meals, cold-drinks, juice & ice-cream, etc., at reasonable, in fact, appetizing rates!
