Ranked 52 for Engineering by The Week 2019, Bangalore Institute of Technology offers quality education programmes in the fields of Engineering, Technology, Management, and Computer Applications. Bangalore Institute of Technology courses include B.Tech, M.Tech, MCA and Ph.D. programmes. Bangalore Institute of Technology admission to the engineering programme - B.Tech and M.Tech is done through the entrance examination such as JEE Main, KCET. Initially, candidates are shortlisted on the basis of entrance exam and then candidates are required to take part in the counselling process. Once the seat is allotted, students are required to pay the required fee and get their documents verified. Admission to the MCA programme is offered on a merit basis of the qualifying examination. Bangalore Institute of Technology has a placement cell that facilitates the conduction of recruitment drive. The placement team of BIT coordinates the placement activities. The BIT placement cell regularly organises job oriented training programmes that help students to gain insights into the industry and its demands. BIT Bangalore placement cell ensures that the recruitment process is conducted efficiently and it assists the company recruiters throughout the recruitment drive. During the 2020 recruitment drive, 75 companies came to recruit BIT students, providing over 524 offers to 408 placed students out of 982 registered students. Bangalore Institute of Technology  has an active Training & Placement (T&P) Cell established in 1994 which ensures to train students with current skills required in the industry.

• The placement process begins when the students reach in their pre final year. 

• The placement activities for each department is executed by one faculty member and two student coordinators. 

• The coordinators organise a mock test and group discussion in their respective departments. Aptitude training, group discussions, interview facing skills, and technical skills training are carried out by certified professionals. Experts from various industries are invited to train students on the recent technologies. 

• Every year, more than three hundred companies join the recruitment process for internships, and full time jobs. 

• Several companies send their assessment form to assess our institute before they decide to take part in the recruitment process.

BIT - Scholarships

Bangalore Institute of Technology does not offer any scholarships. However, students belonging to SC/ST/OBC category can apply to government scholarships which are available for all engineering colleges.
