Bannari Amman Institute of Technology Erode offers courses at UG, PG, MS and PhD level. BIT Erode admission to these courses will be entrance based except for BTech courses at UG level. A student who has passed 10+2 (PCM stream) from a recognised board/university or equivalent examination will be eligible to take admission in the UG programme of BIT Erode.

BIT Erode Admission Process for UG Programme

• Students have to register and appear for the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission (TNEA) counselling which will be conducted by Anna University.

• Admission to BIT Erode UG programmes will be based on aggregate marks obtained in 10+ by the student.

• Students have to opt for Bannari Amman Institute of Technology Erode campus as their first preference in the TNEA counselling process.

• The merit list will be prepared and uploaded on the Anna University website.

• The final admission will be given to the student on the basis of marks obtained in 10+2, participation in the TNEA counselling process, choice filling made by the student, document verification by the BIT Erode administration and fee payment for the opted course by the student.

Bannari Amman Institute of Technology Admission in PG Programme 

A student who has completed an undergraduate programme from a recognised college/university will be eligible to take admission in the PG programme of BIT Erode.

BIT Erode Admission Process for PG Programme

• Students have to register and appear for the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) which will be conducted by Anna University.

• For MTech course, students who have secured a score in any nation-level entrance test such as GATE are eligible for direct admission.

• It is mandatory for the students to take part in the counselling process of Anna University. Students have to opt BIT Erode campus as their first preference in the counselling process.

• The final admission will be given to the student on the basis of marks obtained in TANCET or score secured in GATE, participation in the counselling process, choice filling made by the student, document verification by the BIT Erode administration and fee payment for the opted course by the student.

BIT Erode Admission in MS and PhD Programme

A student completed a post-graduation programme or any degree equivalent to a post-graduate programme, 55% in aggregate or equivalent in the UGC 7- point scale will be eligible to take admission in the PhD programme of BIT Erode.

BIT Erode Admission Process for PhD Programme

• Students have to apply and appear for a common entrance test and interview which will be conducted by Anna University.

• Based on the marks in the common entrance test, students will be called for a personal interview.

• A merit list will be prepared and uploaded to the Anna University website.

• The final admission will be given to the student on the basis of marks obtained in the common entrance test, performance in the personal interview, document verification by the BIT Erode administration and fee payment for the opted course by the student.
