The college has had a good influence in the most part of East India over the years. A few details have been summarised below- Placement Services. *Separate training and placement cell. *Organises summer and winter training, industry visits and industry based project work, free in- house software training courses and placement of pre-final/final year students. *Technical training and soft skills training is provided to enhance communication and interpersonal skills of students Hostel Details *Vikram Sarabhai boys hostel. *Homi J. Bhava boys hostel. *Kalpana Chawla girls hostel. *Sunita Williams girls hostel. *The hostel rooms provide single seater and double seater facility with common/attached bathroom. *The hostel rooms have internet connectivity through fibre optics, which is free of any extra costs for pre-final and final years students only. Infrastructure / Teaching Facilities *Administrative Management Block Computer Science and Technology BlockLaboratory Block ME & CE BlockEEE & EE Block *Central Library *Auditorium *Central Workshop *Conference hall *Medical cell *Modern cafeteria Sports and recreational facilities A playground with two goal posts and a cricket pitch; big enough for any outdoor games, sports, sprint etc. A basketball court and a badminton court are also available. A two days Sports event is organised every year. Topics relating the modern industrial needs are hardly discussed in classes. Teachers tend to discuss topics related to semester exams and other competitive exams. Every year the Entrepreneurship Cell of the college organises an Entrepreneurship week where different workshops and different events are organised but the college management provides minimal help to the E-cell. No college fest is organised and students do not get the permission to organise Freshers too. In a nutshell, college faculties mainly emphasis on academics so that students do well in semester exams.
