BGSIT Mandya Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

Accommodation is provided on a sharing basis. Rooms with basic furniture like a cot, table, and chair are provided. Bedrolls, linen, etc. have to be brought by the students themselves. Strict discipline is maintained in the hostels. Late night entry, and leaving the hostel without permission are not allowed. Smoking and drinking on hostel premises are totally prohibited. Entry of unauthorized persons is prohibited. The hostel mess serves vegetarian food, the menu prepared by the boarders of the hostel itself. Various sports and Cultural Activities, along with regular academic work, are carried out for the benefit of the boarders.

The college has a health center with a first aid facility for the students.

The college has a gym facility for all the students.

The college Library & Information Center is an important learning resource center with open access system encouraging the user to browse freely in the stock area. The library is housed in a spacious block. Presently library has 41,839 volumes of books and periodicals/magazines. The library comprises the reference section, periodical section, stock area, and digital library with an internet facility. Library also has a collection of newspapers; journals back volumes, competitive exam books, GATE question papers University question papers, and syllabi of all the branches. The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.

The College has a Canteen inside the campus in which both South Indian and North Indian dishes are available at reasonable rates. The canteen remains open on all working days. Beverages of different flavors are served on different days according to different seasons. A committee consisting of staff, students, and trustees oversee the functioning of the canteen and its upkeep

The college has an auditorium facility for all the events and seminars.

The college has a departmental-based laboratory facility for all the students.

The college has guest house/waiting room facilities for visiting faculty and student family members.
