BIET Ibrahimpatnam Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college has two libraries spanning over an area of 1984 sqm. & 6000 ft. Students are provided with a book banks facility. It has an INDEST membership. The Library system is supported by automated software Libris Software package 2.0 Version & Koha Open-source Software. It has a collection of 64,407 volumes of books and 16,641 titles as of 20th February 2020. It has subscribed to more than 4000 online journals through TELENET: INFOTRAC Engineering, Science and Technology Collection (IESTC) and Management Collection and it is subscribing more than 172 National and International Journals and Magazines in print.

The college equally emphasizes the need to develop physical activities and encourages Sports and games making it an integral part of the curriculum. the various sports facility is provided to the students within the campus. Various sports competitions such as interdepartmental, Intercollegiate, Inter-University, etc help in developing team spirit among students. Their interpersonal relationship is enhanced in a very healthy manner. Students are provided with honors like medals, trophies, and certificates.

The college students are privileged to have access to our state-of-the-art computer laboratories, which are home to over 1178 computers (DELL, LENOVO, and HP make) with a dedicated network. The Overall ratio of computers to students is nearly more than the number recommended. Computer laboratories are being upgraded from time to time to provide the best computational infrastructure.

The College campus has 3 canteens that promptly cater delicious and nutritious food prepared in a hygienic environment to all the students and staff. Cool aqua water for drinking is available.

The college has got a world-class air-conditioned auditorium with 700 seating capacity, the hallmark of this structure is its interior design and Amphi sound system. Another open-air theatre with a seating capacity of 2000 for large gatherings is also available.

The college has 35 college buses that help the students & staff to commute to the college from various places especially all remote areas. The number of buses will be increased corresponding to the increase in the intake of students.

The college Alumni community is to continuously improve the standards of the institute. The main goal of the Association is to maintain the link between College and Alumni and share their details of employment and achievements. The Alumni members meet for an Annual get-together every year and all the Alumni present are taken around the campus. All the Alumni can participate in various entertainment programs and games organized by the College and are provided with lunch and refreshments.

The College complete campus is networked through a high-speed optical fiber cable facilitating access through Wi-Fi, Wireless LAN, etc.
