BITS Law School Mumbai Courses

The college offers mainly two courses at undergraduate level, these programmes are BA LLB (Hons) and BBA LLB (Hons). These courses are offered with specialization like Technology & Media Law, Alternate Dispute Resolution & Mediation, Corporate & Financial Law and Entertainment & Sports Law. BITS Law School Mumbai course fees is Rs Rs 33,75,000 (each) for both the UG programmes.

BITS Law School Mumbai Admission

Candidates admission into any of the two UG programmes offered by BITS Law School is possible if they have a valid test score in any of the following entrance exams: BITS Law Admissions Test/ CLAT/ LSAT-India/ AILET/ MH CET Law.  Applicants meeting the minimum eligibility criteria i.e. those who have passed class 12 or equivalent exam from a recognised board with a cumulative score of at least 45% will be called for further rounds of the admission process i.e Personal Interview with the BITS Law School panel. The BITS Law School application form can be filled in online mode. 

BITS Law School Mumbai Placement

Placement activity at BITS Law School, Mumbai is carried out by the Career Advancement Strategy and Services (CASS) team. BITS Law School has association with brands such as Bain & Company, EY, PwC, Khaitan, cyril amarchand mangaldas for internship and placement opportunities. The placement team is dedicated to help students with summer internships and final placement. 

BITS Law School Mumbai Facilities

Facilities at Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Law School are developed to provide students with every need inside the campus. Accommodation facility is available for students. Campus facilities have a corporate cell extending counselling, summer placement assistance to the students. Campus is spread over 50,000 sq.ft amidst greenery. BITS Law School Mumbai is a Wi-Fi enabled Campus. The institution has world class facilities for all-round development of the student community. Interim campus of the college is located at knowledge park. Future campus of the institution will be operational from 2024. Transportation is also provided to the students.

BITS Law School, Mumbai Scholarships

Scholarships are provided by the college to students on the basis of merit, financial capability. Scholarships are also awarded to maintain gender diversity in the campus. There are six different scholarships given by BITS Law School Mumbai.

• G.D. Birla Excellence Scholarship for Legal Studies- the scholarship is awarded to two students covering 100% tuition fee throughout the academic year. 

• K.K. Birla Outstanding Scholarship for Legal Studies- only one scholarship is awarded on the basis of performance in the following examination Common Law Admission Test (CLAT), Law School Admission Test-India (LSAT-India), and Maharashtra Common Entrance Test for Law (MH CET Law). The candidate receives a 75% tuition fee waiver. 

• Sarala Birla Meritorious Scholarship for Legal Studies- this scholarship is for women students. It is awarded to one meritorious candidate giving them a 75% tuition fee waiver. 

• Merit & Means Based Scholarship – Assessment for this scholarship will be based on performance in the interview, application form and other extracurricular activities. Successful candidates will receive a 100% tuition fee waiver. 

• Academic Merit Scholarship- Candidates with good performance in their HSC examination are considered for this scholarship they are given a tuition fee waiver of up to 75%. 

• Diversity Scholarship- For women and third gender students, students from underrepresented regions, and students with physical disabilities are given a tuition fee waiver of up to 75%. 

BITS Law School Location

BITS Law has an interim campus at Hiranandani Knowledge Park, Powai, Mumbai. Transportation mediums are close to BITS campus with the Ghatkopar metro station at a distance of 5 km, nearest railway station Bandra Junction at a distance of 18 Km. BITS Law college campus could also be reached from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport, 7.5 Km.
