BITS Goa offers admission to a total of 39 programmes in various fields. BITS Goa admissions are offered to courses at the UG, PG and doctoral levels in full time mode only. BITS Goa B.E/B.Tech admission is offered based on the marks obtained in BITSAT B.E. Admission to BITS Goa M.E and M.Sc programmes is based on performance in the BITS HD, GATE, GPAT, and BITSAT M.Sc exams. For M.E/M.Tech admissions at BITS Goa, candidates must pass the GATE. Following the entrance examination, candidates must attend counselling. Admission to postgraduate level courses is based on merit in the qualifying examination.

BITS Goa offers B.E/B.Tech at undergraduate level in various specialisations. At the undergraduate level the university offers a total of 6 B.E/B.Tech programmes in full-time mode. At the postgraduate level, the institute provides admission to 14  PG programmes - M.E/M.Tech and M.Sc programmes. The BITS Goa courses duration ranges between 2 to 5 years.
