Placements is the process of recruiting students from an institute in order to provide them job opportunities to ensure a smooth transition from academic to professional life. BITS Pilani Hyderabad placement cell organises a smooth placement campaign for students. The placement cell is in charge of all placement-related operations such as keeping a student database, organising campus interviews, providing career counselling to students, and hosting campus fairs. The placement cell cultivates partnerships with reputable corporates and organisations. To prepare students for the placement, BITS Pilani Hyderabad placement cell also holds group discussions, practise interviews, and guest lecturers. BITS Pilani Hyderabad placements cell also conducts a variety of practice sessions on logical reasoning, quantitative ability, writing abilities and a variety of mock interviews for the benefits of the students. BITS Pilani Hyderabad placement cell contacts companies two months before the placement schedule.
The company provides the placement cell with necessary details through job announcement form.
The placement cell looks for the company’s requirements and sends a formal invitation to the company.
A date is fixed mutually for the company's visit to the campus.
Students are announced of the visit of the company to the campus along with the details provided by the company.
Interested students are advised to apply for the job a week before the company visits the campus.
The placement cell provides details of the applicants to the company.
BITS Pilani Hyderabad placement cell books a presentation hall for the company to go through their placement drive.
The placement cell announces the list of selected students after the company finalises it.
The selected students sign an offer letter and its copy is forwarded to the company.

As of now, BITS Pilani Hyderabad does not offer off-campus placements. They are not involved in these types of placements. Every year, BITS Pilani campuses hold two placement seasons. As part of the Practice School programme, their students work in the industry for one semester of their final year. Two months before placements, each campus' website provides details about the students available for placement that season.
A team of Dr Kurra Suresh and Dr Soumya J is currently in charge of placement at the BITS Pilani Hyderabad campus. Since August 2020, Dr Kurra Suresh has been Faculty In-Charge of Placements at BITS Pilani, Hyderabad Campus, and Dr Soumya J has been Faculty In-Charge, Placements (Campus-wide) since August 2020. Additionally, Dr Soumya J is an Assistant Professor at BITS-Pilani, Hyderabad, in the Department of Electrical & Electronics Engineering, and Dr Kurra Suresh is an Assistant Professor at BITS Pilani, Hyderabad Campus in the Department of Mechanical Engineering.
For admission to the M.Pharm program at BITS Pilani Hyderabad, candidates must take the GPAT or BITS HD online entrance tests. Applicants are admitted based on their marks in the BITS HD test online and/or the written test, group discussions, and interviews conducted by BITS at its campuses/other locations. Depending on their performance in the exam, candidates are called for the next round of admission. Candidates must have an integrated BITS in Pharmacy or its M.Pharm equivalent (Specialisation in Pharmaceutics) degree to apply for admission.
