BITS hyd has all modern labs and equipment. All the classrooms are fully air conditioned with state of the art IT additions. We have a separate library bldg, fully AC, and a huge collection of resources. All sports facilities are avl like tennis, football, basketball, badminton, swimming pool etc. Hostels are neat and clean with WiFi. The entire campus is well maintained and extremely clean. Hygiene protocols are followed everywhere.
I am pursuing the dual degree Msc Eco + BE ECE course. I had an interest in financial markets as well as core electronics therefore this scheme suited me perfectly. The curriculum is extremely well thought out and updated to recent industrial standards as well. BITS Hyd is definitely a tier 1 college in terms of the level of academics
Currently interning at one of the biggest Investment Banks in the world so that says a lot about the level of placements. All the students are placed by the end of the placement cycle successfully and satisfactorily.
The fee was around 4 lac a year but for me it was worth it as i received top quality education and world class placements. Financing for the same is easily available as the college has tie-up with SBI for the same.
Loved every second of my time on campus. Once you start living there, you will never ever want to leave. It is one of the most green and clean places i have ever lived in. There is greenery everywhere.
The Institute is fully residential and hostel accommodation is provided to all students. There are six hostels for boys and two hostels for girls. There are two common kitchen cum mess units for all students. The mess serves vegetarian and non-vegetarian food and the units operate under the management of 5 member student mess council. Students staying in the hostel have to necessarily take their food in the hostel messes. Every inmate of the hostel is provided with basic amenities
I'm a computer science student studing in btech I'm here for the excellence they provide in the way of there teaching the teachers are friendly and collaborate with us in many ways also the surrounding feels like a good area to gain knowledge and learn anything in a great manner.
About 90% of the students from the got placed. The highest salary package offered was 40 LPA, and the average salary package offered ranges between 12-15 LPA although I've seen my seniours they are well settled today .
It's worthy to be a part of bits Hyderabad as every penny you will pay you will feel the worth of your payment like the mess and value of education is great like never before and also you will feel honoured to be the part of the institute .
It is the best private engineering college in India. Placements: I haven't graduated yet, but the placements of computer science students from BITS Pilani are one of the most rewarding and renowned in the entire country.
Overall I would say it is my please to be a part of this institution and would love to be called a memeber of the bits family overall I would say it's a great experience and I've learner alot and would be learning great things in further .
The college has outstanding Infrastructure. Since it is comparatively a new campus, it has the best infrastructure compared to the rest of the two campuses. The classes are well maintained, we have all the modern labs and machinery. Bits Hyderabad has one of the largest as well as the most beautiful auditorium. We also have a Student Activity center that is well equipped with all the major sports and Gymnasium. The hostels are up to the standards, and the food provided is delicious.
I am studying B.E Chemical Engineering. The faculties have a good number of years of experience and they are quite efficient in what they teach. The curriculum set by the university gives a lot of freedom to students which ultimately helps in the overall development of the child. We have a thing called Practice School (PS), which means that students are partnered with industry so as to give them industrial exposure and thus make the students industry-ready. The duration of PS is around 8 months
The placements are quite good here. Even in COVID, BITS Hyderabad breaks its own records of placements in terms of both the highest CTC offered and the number of students placed. Roughly around 95% of students were placed with avg CTC of around 14.89 LPA. The highest package offered was around 45 LPA to a student of CS. The placement process is enjoyable. The Placement unit holds various workshops and orientations to make students interview ready.
The tuition fee of the course is around 3.56 lacs per year. But, BITS has various scholarships for the students like Merit Scholarship, Merit Cum Need Scholarship, etc. So I get MCN Scholarship and thus my because of which I get 80% of my tuition fee back. The % that you get as a scholarship depends upon the CGPA you get. You may also end up getting a 100% scholarship if you work hard. Thus for me, the cost is reduced to 71K per year. Given the quality of education, it is absolutely worth it.
The campus life is just Awesome. The quality of talent that you find here is very high because the admissions are based purely on merit. The students are allowed to join Clubs/Departments/Assocs from their first year. There are various clubs and departments. Almost all the students are able to find a department that is aligned with their interests. The location of the college is somewhat outwards of the city. It takes around 2-2.5 hrs to reach Hyderabad airport from campus.
BITS is a student-driven university, which means students are involved in almost all the important tasks. Be it placements, Practice schools and Fests, there are varioius student-lead committees that handle all these processes. This helps in their overall development.
My college has all the major infrastructure , facilities and equipments that one would expect in a top tier engineering college. We have smartboards in all our classrooms along with good speakers and cameras which record every lecture. Labs have modern equipments. One of the biggest libraries in south India. Excellent sports centre with all sports' equipments available. 5gb Data per day for each student in the hostels. The living spaces are regularly cleaned and our mess is also well maintained.
I am pursuing chemical engineering with a minor in finance. The quality of teaching is above average. The teachers have good depth of knowledge in their fields, but some of them might not be very fluent in expressing their knowledge. Curriculum is updated regularly and any recent developments made are also tried to be incorporated in it. I am getting the theoretical knowledge needed in working in a job, but the practice school (internship)organised by the college would help with practical skills.
The quality of placements has always been very high. 94% of students are placed every year. Computer science is the branch from which the highest placement occurs every year and the highest package offered was Rs 42 lpa. The average salary offered was 15.7 lpa. I am currently in my second year and haven't gone through any placement process till now.
My course costs 4.5 lakhs per year. I feel I am getting my money's worth in some areas like the facilities and infrastructure offered to the students while in some areas like acadmics, I feel I am paying a bit more that what is being offered to the students. Also there's a fee hike of 15% every year which is making the college more expensive than ever.
Due to the pandemic ,I was only able to spend 6-7 months on campus, but they were great. My college campus is one of the most beautiful campuses in the country. Its best feature is the Waterfall and the worst is its huge size. Students can play different sports, take a good walk, enjoy nature as my campus is full of greenery. Students and teachers are very warm and cordial. Its located a bit far away from the main hyderabad city. Yes its very safe and can handle small emergencies easily
A great college with huge learning opportunities for anyone who is passionate ,enthusiastic and is willing to work for it. I hope this pandemic will soon come to an end and I hopefully can head back there soon.
We have all the basic infrastructure with grounds for cricket, hockey, football and gym etc, basic hygiene os good but sometimes foul smell throughout campus because of dumping yard nearby. You can access wifi in campus and hostels your are allowed to roam in clg till 2 am
I am studying master of engineering in design where we learn about FEA , CFD etc ,the faculty are very good on guiding you in your area of interest, they will constantly encourage you to push you limits
Being in mechanical background i don't blame college for not bringing many companies for UG people they have lot of opportunities in there hand. ME has godd placements in cs but mechanical they are okay
Cost of education is high but you can get most out of it if you Undergrad there are lot of department activities and feast. You do have central library we access to publications. The course cost would be around 5 lks per year with 10-15 % hike per year
Bits provides clean and hygienic environment. The food provided in mess is of very good quality and better than most of the other colleges. Overall infrastructure is excellent and Wi-Fi speed is also very good.
The teachers in bits are very good if u attend classes properly. Examination pattern is also very good. It gives you chances to maintain your cgpa. Even if you are not able to attend classes due to some reasons then also you can attend it by using their special software known as impartus where all lectures are updated.
Quality of placement at bits is awesome. If one is able to maintain teri cgpa above 8 then they can get placed at a very good package. Average placement at bits is of around 11-12 lakhs per annum. Even if one is capable enough then they can get a pre-placement offer.
Although bits is an expensive college but it provides equal amount of facilities and an awesome environment to students to grow and discover their ownselves. The college is worth the money paid.
Campus life is awesome. There arr lots of activities going on in the campus such as the treasure hunts, sports event, cultural event etc. There are lots of clubs and department of which the students can be a part of. These all activities provide a platform for students to know each other.
Bits Hyderabad is a awesome place. It makes me happy and I’m sure it will make u happy as well.
Very well facilitated campus with air conditioned classrooms. Very big , spacious and well equipped labs. Very big campus with excellent sports facilities and gyms. It has a big swimming pool ,but we need to pay 150 rupees to access it. It has got a huge air conditioned auditorium. The campus is 70 km from international airport. The campus is famous for its greenery. It's filled with green plants and gives a relaxing atmosphere.
One of the top colleges in terms of academics. Students can get selected only through bitsat entrance exam. Top quality education with excellent campus selection. Number of researches going on. There is a dual degree course available here where one can complete 2 courses one major and one minor within a course of 5 years.
Placements have always been great here. Students get selected by companies like Google mycrosoft Adobe Amazon Oracle and so on. Placement here doesn't depend much on grades. It depends on various skills that students develop over the years.
It's absolutely worth the fees. It costs around 4 lakhs 58 thousand for day scholars ad around 5 lakhs 43 thousand for hostellers. There is a scholarship of 100% for students securing top 1% in academics . It's absolutely worth the fees for the facilities and the freedom they give.
Campus Life is so cool . Students get a lot of freedom. With 0% attendance requirement students get to know the importance of attending classes. Less pressure applied on students. Campus is so big with lots of food stalls and play fields. There are various clubs like tech clubs and social clubs in which students can join and work together in groups. Professors here all PhD holders and are very highly educated and trained. It's a little hard to understand the way of their teaching .
I would rate BitspilaniHyderabad campus to be one of the dream colleges of every indian engineering student. I assure it's one of the best days of your life studying here. It's absolutely worth the fees even though it's a little costlier than other colleges. The graduation certificate has so much value. The quality and intellect of students around are so high. One can learn so much over the years and come up bright. Various good job and research opportunities
It contains all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipments. It contains smart boards and wifi throughout the Campus as well as at the hostels. They also maintain the living spaces clean and good hygeinic.
The quality of teaching is way better than other colleges and I appreciate the opportunity of getting to study in such a great place. The curriculum gets updated and includes all the essential for making a student job-ready.
The quality of placements is way better than other colleges. 100% students almost are able to get placements who have been present for placement interviews. The average salary offered is around 10-12 lakhs per annum.
The college is little bit expensive as it is private, but you will never regret spending money on one of the top colleges of India and would also get the proper guidance you would be looking for.
The campus life is really happening and the people around are also very friendly. The students and teachers are always eager to support whenever you need.
College has all the necessary infrastructure, All hostels have wifi 24/7. Classrooms and laboratories have all the essential teaching stuff. Teachers are great. Campus is green and clean. Hygiene is very well maintained.
Everything here is amazing. Professors are themselves graduated from big institutes like IIT and foreign universities, they are great delivers of the course. Handout is also flexible. You can have any courses you like.
Placements at core are way better. And most people go for Ms in foreign universities who are really interested in the subject. While some end up in finance and IT sector in multinational companies which is great.
Bits pilani's fees for four years is around 20 lacks in total, which is yes very huge but it is worth of the money you put in, with no reservations and coming up only on score basis is great and that's why the crowd is much better here. Surely everything here is worth the money. You will have a great exposure.
Campus Life here is very much like that in IIT's. You will love your everyday here in bits. Moreover, your hostel life, wing and everything will be something you will miss once you step out after four years.
The class rooms are really big and more comfortable which have projectors and LED screens. Hostel rooms contains wifi and kan connection with study table a white board and a cupboard. The college has one of the biggest auditorium in Asia. U have lawns and roads freely to walk and rest with friends. There are two large mess with hygenic food and some permanent food outlets like yummpies, thickshake, Amul etc.
I'm studying Mechanical Engineering in this campus because I think this course in this college is better than the colleges I got like Electronics in vellore Institute of technology. The curriculum is updated every day through ur email which will be given by the campus. And u can make ur own time table every semester. U need not go to all clases compulsory but must need to attend all the practicals and labs.
U will get perfect placemnts not only based upon ur cumulative grade but upon ur achievments in ur academic years and ur communication skills. 95% of the students get the placements. And U get many multinational companies in ur placements.
Aah as the fee increased every year in this college. I say that it is worth for investing some extra money into this college than the other ones
You will experience the best campus life in this college. You will have four big fests throughout ur academic year where u and ur friends enjoi the dj nights awesome food outlets. There are no buildings surrounding the college so u can have fresh air breeze and the mornings are awesome in the winter season. And there is a hospital and a supermarket a hair salon and so many general shops needed for daily life.
