The institute was established in 2008 by Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani. The campus is spread over an area of 200 acres. The campus has a total faculty strength of 559 members. BITS Pilani Hyderabad offers a total of 24 courses in various disciplines. The institute is accredited by NAAC. BITS Pilani Hyderabad admissions for B.E, B.Pharm, and M.Sc. are based on the results of the BITSAT- which is the entrance exam conducted by BITS. The institute offers scholarships and support to needy and meritorious students. BITS Pilani Hyderabad Admissions

The institute offers admissions at the undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels. BITS Pilani Hyderabad admissions for B.E, B.Pharm, and M.Sc. are based on the results of the institute's BITSAT entrance exam. Students with a valid Graduate Test in Engineering (GATE)/ Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) scorecard are eligible for M.E/M.Pharm admissions . BITS Pilani Hyderabad Cut Off

The cut off of this institute is prepared on the basis of marks obtained in BITSAT. The cut off rank for some of the courses in the year 2020 are: B.Pharm-161, BE Chemical Engineering-240, BE Civil Engineering Hons- 240, BE Computer Science Engineering- 336, BE Electronics and Communication Engineering Hons- 314. The number of seats available in each programme, the number of applicants for each programme, and the number of seats earmarked for the reserved category are the determining factors for the BITS Pilani Hyderabad cut off.

BITS Pilani Hyderabad Scholarships

Scholarships are given to students who have excelled in the classroom in the past. Scholarships are available at BITS Pilani Hyderabad for poor and deserving students. A BITS Scholarship Endowment Fund is being established to provide scholarships to deserving students. BITS Pilani Hyderabad merit-cum-means scholarships are offered to students from financially disadvantaged family backgrounds who perform well in academics. 3% of the students are offered 80% of tuition fees as scholarships, while 6% are offered 40% of tuition fees as scholarships. The eligibility criteria for availing these scholarships is that the candidates must have more than a certain CGPA which is decided at the commencement of every semester and the annual family income of the student should not exceed more than Rs 8,00,000 lakhs from all the sources.

College Infrastructure

BITS hyd has all modern labs and equipment. All the classrooms are fully air conditioned with state of the art IT additions. We have a separate library bldg, fully AC, and a huge collection of resources. All sports facilities are avl like tennis, football, basketball, badminton, swimming pool etc. Hostels are neat and clean with WiFi. The entire campus is well maintained and extremely clean. Hygiene protocols are followed everywhere.

College Infrastructure

The Institute is fully residential and hostel accommodation is provided to all students. There are six hostels for boys and two hostels for girls. There are two common kitchen cum mess units for all students. The mess serves vegetarian and non-vegetarian food and the units operate under the management of 5 member student mess council. Students staying in the hostel have to necessarily take their food in the hostel messes. Every inmate of the hostel is provided with basic amenities

College Infrastructure

The college has outstanding Infrastructure. Since it is comparatively a new campus, it has the best infrastructure compared to the rest of the two campuses. The classes are well maintained, we have all the modern labs and machinery. Bits Hyderabad has one of the largest as well as the most beautiful auditorium. We also have a Student Activity center that is well equipped with all the major sports and Gymnasium. The hostels are up to the standards, and the food provided is delicious.

Does BITS Pilani Hyderabad offer off-campus placements?

As of now, BITS Pilani Hyderabad does not offer off-campus placements. They are not involved in these types of placements. Every year, BITS Pilani campuses hold two placement seasons. As part of the Practice School programme, their students work in the industry for one semester of their final year. Two months before placements, each campus' website provides details about the students available for placement that season.

What are the eligibility requirements for M.Pharm Pharmaceutics at BITS Pilani Hyderabad?

For admission to the M.Pharm program at BITS Pilani Hyderabad, candidates must take the GPAT or BITS HD online entrance tests.
