BMS College of Engineering (BMSCE), Bangalore was established by Late Sri. B. M. Sreenivasaiah in the year 1946. The college is accredited by NAAC with A++ grade. BMS College of Engineering has been affiliated with the Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU). The college offers a total of 46 courses across the UG, PG and doctoral levels. Admissions to all these courses are done on the basis of different national level examinations. There is also a long list of facilities that the college offers to its students to help them financially. The college also offers multiple facilities to its students to help them have a better college life experience.

BMSCE offers 46 courses at the undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels. BMS College of Engineering UG courses include B.Tech while BMSCE PG courses include M.Tech, M.B.A, M.C.A. and Ph.D is the doctoral course offered by the BMS College of Engineering, Bangalore. Out of the total 48 courses offered, BMSCE offers 17 courses at the UG level, 15 courses at the UG level and 14 courses at the doctoral level. All these courses are offered in full-time mode only. Students must meet the eligibility criteria for the course they wish to avail.

BMSCE Admissions

BMSCE Bengaluru offers varied degree programmes such as B.E., M.Tech, M.B.A, Ph.D, MCA programmes. Candidates seeking admission must apply by filling the online application form from the official website of the college. Valid scores in the examinations of KCET or COMED-K are accepted for B.E admissions. Students who have decided to admit themselves to the M.B.A programme in the college will have to appear for the entrance exam of KMAT/CMAT/MAT/PGCET. Candidates must have a valid score in the examinations of KMT/PGCET for M.C.A admissions.

BMSCE Scholarships

BMS College of Engineering Bengaluru provides fellowships to the students who need financial aid and are not able to study further because of financial constraints. The criteria for availing the scholarships must be met by the students willing to avail these scholarships . Many factors such as the family's annual income, performance in academics, and more are taken into consideration for the said purpose. Some of the BMSCE scholarships are Karnataka Minorities Scholarship, Defense Scholarship, GOI scholarship for disabled persons, and others, 

BMSCE Cut-Off

The BMSCE cutoff is different for every course that it offers. BMS College of Engineering cutoff relies upon factors like difficulty level of the exam, number of available seats, number of desiring aspirants, previous year cut-off trends, and others. Students must meet the cut-off for the course of their choice and for their particular category. Only after meeting the cut-off can the students move further in the process of admission.

BMSCE Placements

The aim of the BMSCE placement cell is to provide placement to as many students as possible. The college has a special department for placement and also has tie up with private consultancy firms who provide training for placements on a chargeable basis. BMS College of Engineering placement cell acts as a bridge between the students and the organisations. The cell also takes it upon itself to groom the students before the final round of interview through means of group discussions, seminars, mock interviews, and others.

BMSCE Facilities

The BMS College of Engineering provides a number of facilities to its students. The college has many individual buildings assigned as hostels for the students and each unit of hostel has all facilities like mess, well-furnished rooms with modern amenities, playing grounds. 

The college has a hospital of its own known as the BMS hospital. There is also a library with ample reading material in the campus. The college houses a central data centre that provides campus-wide networking facilities. The college also has facilities for both indoor and outdoor games.

The location of the college is Bull Temple Rd, Basavanagudi, Bengaluru, Karnataka. The nearest bus stop to BMSCE is Ashokanagara stop, at a distance of 850 m, and it takes 3 minutes to cover the distance. BMSCE is about 5 kms away from the Central Railway Station. The distance between Bengaluru Airport (BLR) and B.M.S. College of Engineering is 32 km, which is the nearest airport to the college.
