BVCITS East Godavari Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college has a Private hostel exclusively accommodating only the BVCITS students with an accommodation of 90 persons, provided with to-&-fro bus transport to the college, student maintained mess with equal distribution of the expenditure. 24 hrs guarded security and continuous supervision under resident faculty members.

The college has a Lady's Hostel is available within the campus completely secure and appointed with a security guard. The present accommodation capacity of the hostel is 150 persons and has a 24 x7 Warden continuously monitoring the activities of the hostel residents. Hygiene and cleanliness are given utmost importance with dedicated personnel deputed for these works. The entire hostel is provided with Mineral Water with 20 TDS and hygienic food with a student-designed menu. Internet Browsing is provided on the campus every day in the evening for one hour exclusively for the hostlers, extending the provision of allowing personal laptops with 100 Mbps speed Wi-Fi connectivity. Paramedical facilities with visiting doctors for the hostel and First Aid Kit. Land telephone connections with Three Outgoing Coin Boxes and Two Incoming lines are available. Uninterrupted Public supply Power. Air Conditioned accommodation is available at a nominal extra payment. Study hours are maintained and Mess timings are followed strictly.

The college has had a Library from the day of inception having 17,000 Volumes and has expanded exponentially to 33,592 Volumes well stocked with variants of books that cater to the information needs of Students and Staff Members. BVCITS also provides 1000 general books, 36 IEEE journals, and 15 magazines. The library is fully computerized with database search & cataloging and offers borrowing facilities @ 3 books/ student member for a period of 10 days and @ 6 books/ staff member for a period of a semester, the Government of Andhra Pradesh Social Welfare Organization for SC/ST students has provided Book Bank Facility free of cost. Most of the SC/ST students of our college are utilizing this facility. The reference Section has Handbooks, Encyclopedias, Journals & Magazines, CDs, and several rare books. The library has hordes of Indian & International Journals and Magazines in the reference section. Apart from the stipulated Borrowers Books offered by the Library; it has started lending books through the Open Book Bank facility from the year 2002. Subscription is open during admission, through nominal payment, where a student is offered 6 books relevant to the subject in each semester, which is returnable at the end of the semester The library is housed in a vast space of 400 sq. mts. with a seating capacity of 120 members with separate reference and periodical sections. The seating area is sectionalized for staff & students reading area, discussion chamber, Newspaper, and Magazine seating sections.

The college has sports participation is a vital aspect for all ages and a powerful medium of interaction with other institutions. The college has play courts for several games like Badminton, Cricket, Volleyball, Shuttle, Tennicoit, etc., for both men and women. The College has conducted many sports events inside the campus and many of our students have participated in Zonal and State level competitions and won several prizes in various sports events. Inter-Departmental Sports Activities are also conducted and several Students have won prizes for their respective departments.
