BSACET Placements
BSACET has a Training and Placement Cell that aids in the smooth conduction of the placement drive conducted by companies visiting the university for the BSACET placement process. The Training and Placement Cell guides the students in all career-related matters and helps to maximize his/her career prospects and take the best possible decision related to their career. The institute contacts the past and potential recruiters from different sectors and they are invited by the cell to conduct campus placements. Proper training sessions are organized by the Training and Placement Cell of BSACET for the students to develop job-specific skills, interpersonal skills, technical skills, soft skills, etc and apart from this students are also trained in aptitude, technical understanding related to its core and soft skills which are highly demanded in every potential employee by the recruiters and thus these skills help in meeting the corporate standard. BSACET trains the students to improve their communication skills as students with good communication skills have an edge over the others. Students of the varsity are a part of various conferences and seminars, guest lectures from eminent personalities belonging to the industry. Students are a part of Resume writing sessions Workshops, Seminars, Educational shows, Guest lectures, Industrial visits, and Corporate visits for the overall development of the students. Group discussions and mock interview sessions are conducted frequently to improve the communication and public speaking skills of the students. BSACET placement process is listed below:
Inviting the Past and the Potential Recruiters - The T&P cell of BSACET coordinates with the recruitment companies and sends an invitation along with an annexure and other documents such as a brochure to the potential recruiters.
Acceptance of invitation by the Recruiters - Recruiters interested to conduct BSACET placements, in return fills in all the necessary information in the annexure and reverts via mail and confirms their presence for the BSACET placement drive.
Fixing a placement schedule - The Training and Placement Cell then fixes dates with various recruiters according to their availability and a placement schedule is fixed upon mutual agreement and the placement schedule is shared with the students for their reference.
Slot-Allocation - After fixing dates with the recruiters, slots are allocated to them for visiting the campus for conducting the BSACET placement process.
Registration of the interested students - Students interested to participate in the recruitment have to register with the T&P cell and submit all the required documents such as CVs and students satisfying all eligibility criteria will be asked to proceed further with the BSACET placement process.
Delivery of Pre-Placement Talk by the Recruiters - Students of BSACET are given a pre-placement talk by recruiting companies so that they are aware of the policies, roles, and job profiles offered by them and they can also solve their queries at the end of the formal session.
Shortlisting of Resumes - The resumes of all the students who have registered for participation in the recruitment process is screened and shortlisted according to the requirement of the recruiters for the BSACET placement process.
Written Test- Shortlisted candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria as provided by the recruiters have to appear and qualify for a written test which is generally classified into different sections including Quantitative aptitude, Logical and Reasoning ability, English competency, etc to test the skills, basic knowledge, and intelligent quotient of students. It is mandatory for the candidates to qualify for the written test in order to be a part of the next stage of the BSACET placement procedure.
Group Discussion - Students who will qualify for the written test have to qualify for Group Discussion on topics decided by the recruiters to judge the communication and speaking skills of students and their ability to voice their opinion in a group.
Personal Interview - After clearing the GD round, students have to appear for the various Interview such as Technical interviews and HR Interviews conducted by various recruiting companies to test the technical knowledge, communication skills, and confidence of students.
Final Selection- Students of BSACET who qualify for all rounds of tests, group discussion, and interviews, are finally successful in the recruitment process and only these selected students are then offered jobs on the basis of their skills and caliber.
