Yes college has a well equipped wifi and libraries. College faculty is supportive and well educated. It has a well cleaned and air conditioning library and multipurpose hall in which various college programs will be held.
Yes all good. Every year there are many rankers in GATE, CAT and many competitive examinations. Also with the good on campus placement. Overall average CGPA of the students is also above 8 out of 10. This year AIR 27 is from BIET jhansi in GATE 2023 exam.
Placement statistics are good and increasing every year with 64 LPA Highest package at Google last year. Companies like Larsen and turbo and Wipro and TCS is coming on an annual basis for bulk hiring.
Yes, it's ROI is good and can be beneficial for a student who want to go for competitions and having mid-income sources. Course fee is also manageable as other institution charges greater amount for the same course.
There are many clubs and councils present in the college to make over the co curricular skills of a student.
Overall, it has a good academic culture with a very variety of culture of co curricular activities.
It's not that bad. Expectations sucks here a lot. You may be demotivated here. But you guys should know this college gave us a single digit AIR in gate .So you have to decide whether you want to be in Taj or LBSSNA.
Look guys, it's a college life not a school one. So don't expect just not be there, even everywhere you have to study on your own. As You can check it is the reputated college in UP. So, students who are here are just genius. They will show their talent on the right time.
Not that good. But now it is improving a lot. As one of our senior has been selected for Microsoft and google. As you know thing can't be change in a one day. Everything takes time. But now more and more companies are approaching towards our college.
Look private college takes a lot of money from us and after that there is no guarantee of placement. There is a value of money. It's totally worth it .its not that much as middle class family can't afford .Even you can get up scholarship.
It's just awesome be there. Recently we have enjoyed a grand tech fest INNOVANZA. There are lot of events which our senior organised just for us. We enjoyed a lot and lot. It's a college life dude, so just enjoy whatever is going on surrounding you.
My college is situated in bundelkhand , jhansi. Its infrastructure is very good and comfortable. There are proper fans and lights in each and every class room . There are proper labs and workshops for each department and each sector. Maintenance is also very fine.
Academics is very good in my college. The faculty of my college is very supporting and elaborating. each and every student feel free to ask their doubts. I also feel very comfortable in my class with my teachers.
status of placements is also very good in my college. The students having great skills have achieved whatever they desire in my college. in fact this year my two respected seniors got placed in GOOGLE and other members also got placed in the their desired companies.
since my college (BIET ) is a government college so it's curriculum cost is affordable for students. The cost is not very high and the students can get scholarship also . so i think students should not be worried for the course cost.
campus of BIET is spread in a large area. There are all facilities available that students need in their daily life. There are greenish surroundings in the campus . BIET has many clubs in which students can join and develop themselves mentally as well as physically. There are each and every sports available for physical growth of the students.
overall i am very happy in my college.
The infrastructure by mean is neat and clean ,well equipped library and laboratories, and classes.Neatly arranged classes ,well furnished halls and auditorium. Every class have both writing and smart smart boards with projectors. The food provided by college though does not feel homey but tastes good.
Every students gets to choose their combination /courses of their own interest. Just like any other i got to choose one such.I chose "electronics and communication engineering" It allows me a very vast opportunity in field of engineering .The curriculum gets updated whenever needed .the books provided are of latest edition and updation. The teachers are well skilled in their own field and deliver the good aspects if the subjects to their students.
Placement are average in this college placement cell is there Near to 50-60 percent get placement from campus but the paid Salary is very less the average salary offer in our college is 4-5 lakh per annum.
Varying courses have varying costs and here our grade from entrance exams affect the fee structure. As for me ,getting good grades/rank in JEE made me cost 61000 per year for the course i choose.i do feel the money is worth. The facility provided in both the academics and sports/extra curriculum are worth the money costs
The college provides its students with the kind environment which makes its students to come college everyday .There are many activities a student can enroll in.From basic survival skill to highly required codin, a student gets to choose their interested activity throughout.the teachers and other support staff are friendly and intellectual.the location is in a very calm and quite place which happened to be safe for any.Amidth being in centre of the city ,the surrounding is just calm .
Yes it have all necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment and all of them are good. It also have classrooms, laboratories, libraries, sports centres and hostels all in a one condition. It also consist of Wifi facility with a super high speed.
I am in computer science and engineering hence studies computer subjects in the majority with some mathematics and electronics on the first semester. Yes our curriculum curriculumes all the recent developments in the field.
Good quality content and all of my seniors had oalced with 3-4 lpa package. I am in computer science and engineering hence studies computer subjects in the majority with some mathematics and electronics on the first semester. Yes our curriculum curriculumes all the recent developments in the field.
I have to pay 63k per year. I think it is a not a big amounts for such a good college. As it is a government college, so the fees is normally. By getting a valuable education and environment make the money worth.
It has Avery big campus and it took me 15 minute to go to my classroom from main door.
One of the good government college in state.
Infrastructure here is average as per now but with many projects under construction it seems to be termed good in coming years. We have proper library and a new and bigger one is under construction.Electrical Engineering being a self financed branch does not have a seprate department building as of now and classes and labs are run in Electronics department.Old claassrooms are average but the new ones are well equipped with smart boards.Wifi is great.Hostels are good and clean.Mess food ? .
As in first year classes are run very smooth and faculty is supportive. I don't know of further years.AKTU curriculam is followed. Various seminars and expert talks are held time to time.Practical sense is quite lacking as most engineering colleges run by state governments.College mainly focusses on sports but now technical events are being encouraged with more and more clubs like mercenary motorsports for mechanical guys and Drone learners for aerodynamics intrested students.
Placements are average but average placements remains low. Usually Computer And Information Technology students get placed. Core companies visiting are minimal. But students here are more intrested in higher studies and PSU jobs. Many get great ranks in GATE exam. One of our seniors secured an AIR 1 this year. With time passing things are getting better and better. We got a training and placement cell which has increased a great deal of placement opportunities.
Including everything mess food, hostel charges and academic charges it costs about 1 lakh 15 thousand.Hostels are average with many new hostels being added to row it will be good by next year. Several activities organized make it worth it.
Campus is quite big and lush green in winters and rainy season but summers are like desert.Campus life is not that exciting as big universities or national level colleges but its good and you will get used to it. Faculty is good.Major boon here is senior junior relationship. You will get plenty of time to play and brush up your skills as sports facilities are quite good here. With a shooting range under construction it would add to it a major boon.
If you got better options then don't think of it.But if you compair with state run colleges it is a nice choice. It will give you what you wan't with ample of extra curricular activities you can get into what ever field you like. And after class 12th make your mind where ever you are gonna go you will have to study on your own nobody is going to spoon feed you.At times life gets too monotonous here but people here are all helpful and friendly and life becomes worth living .
College does not have basic infrastructure as required by the 2020 college there are a lots of space available in the college but the classroom in the college is quiet less. many departments are mixed with students to teach. Branches such as Information technology do not have their own department as well as MBA also.
Academics is good in this college for many years student=s havre bee scoring a good decent rank in GATE Examinations .There is no such force to get 75% attendance as there are lots of opportunity open for students to score and prepare. College provides with the Gate Coaching ,and preparation books inside the campus for free.
Placements were not good till year 2018 but recently there is a huge increment in the placement in our college many companies like Samsung, Tcs, Cognizant, Tech. Mahindra etc. come to our college and almost 60-70% student get placed in final Year of their B.tech. However you have to be efficient from your side to work hard for placements learning different skills.
Fees of the college is very less as compared with the colleges there in the AKTU they cost for the fortunate for studying in the college plus other colleges have a basic nominal fee for any sub cultural activities but here in BIET there is no extra fess taken ,instead Scholarship is provided to the students which almost make the studying fee of cost almost most of the fees get refunded.
campus life is awesome in every terms as you will make the best of your life from the college and friends that you will remember for the rest of your life. Campus has a upcoming large library, seminar hall for students, a large ground for sports and 2 Basketball court badminton court. Overall campus life is good just that there is no locality nearby eg:- Big Baazar, Restaurant nearby
Yes I would definitely recommend this college as you can build up your personality for life and years ahead to make your life better. College does have some cons but its Uttar Pradesh ranked 2nd college so the cons might be negotiated ,there are many clubs initiated by the seniors for juniors to explore themselves.
Yes, college is having all basic infrastructure that you will be needing to be here in upcoming batches there is a total of 7 hostels for students(boys) and girls hostel separatly.BIET has Library ,IIC(Institute Innovation cell),Large ground for all sports.Classroms are spacious but not enough for all department.
BIET has always been thoughtful towards the future of the students providing free GATE preparation classes by one of the best teachers providing study material.BIET students have always scored exceptionally in gate exams
Previously the placement was not that good, but from the year 2018 there was the formation of the student council in TPC(Training and placement cell) and now placement has been improved significantly.many companies like TCS, Cognizant, Infosys, Samsung, etc had their visit to college this year.
BIET has the lowest fees in all AKTU colleges and after that, it provides scholarship for students. You will get a lot to learn from this college.College conducts various workshops, competitions, participate in many of them eg:-Techriti, SIH, etc.
Campus life is awesome there is no hard and rock rule for attendance and you get a lot of area to explore in ypursellf ,there are various councils,sub-councils events that you can participate in. Though the drawback is you don't get much freedom in your 1st Year.
hiii ,
if you do not report physically you should contact the college immediately with a valid reason of you not visiting there physically , otherwise they may cancel your application and you seat .

Hi,
B.I.E.T. Jhansi is a very nice place for those who are very good at doing things independently i.e. there is no burden of classes so if you want to prepare for upsc and other exams you will have ample of time.
Secondly placement is meagre ( that is also the case with prestigious colleges too) but institute hold a positive feedback from employers thanks to alumni.
Points to remember :-
1: NO Campus placement for core students(Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Chemical).
2: You may go for GATE or other civil services exam during or after your b.tech.
3:You have lot of time to prepare as it’s a typical government college so not a plenty of lectures.
4 :Faculty is good and supportive.
5: I am not sure about practical knowledge as they have labs and I have seen them performing practicals several times.
Placement offers in civil engineering are the least here, and it is around 10-40%. The highest salary offered is Rs. 70,000 per month. The average salary offered is Rs. 35,000 per month. Students prefer to learn coding here because companies like Wipro, TCS, etc., offer a number of opportunities. In recent batch, almost 5 students are given internships with a stipend of Rs. 30,000 by various companies such as Byju's, TCS, etc.
