The Training and Placement Cell at Cambridge Institute of Technology (CIT) in Ranchi, Jharkhand, India works to help students in their pursuit of career goals. The department strives to build a strong partnership between students, alumni, faculty members, and industries. CIT follows a centralised placement activity to give each branch an equal opportunity to succeed. The Training and Placement Cell has three main activities: Training, Education, and Development. Training focuses on preparing students for entry-level roles in the industry, while Education focuses on the skills needed for job profiles.
Development focuses on personality development to make the students reliable and have a positive attitude and decision-making. The objectives of the Placement Cell are to help students develop their academic and career interests, and short and long-term goals. It also helps the students gain practical experience through internship opportunities. The Placement Process includes Orientation, Data Capture, Student Mapping, Placement Training, Recruitment Process, and Final Selection. The Cell helps students and companies alike to find the right fit.
