    CIPET Chennai Admission Process

    At the undergraduate, postgraduate and diploma levels, the institute offers 7 programmes. Candidates seeking admissions to CIPET Chennai B.E Manufacturing Engineering and B.Tech Plastics Technology need to register and appear for the state level counselling - Tamilnadu Engineering Admission (TNEA), conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education, Tamil Nadu. There is no admission exam for TNEA counselling, and the merit list is compiled solely on the candidates' grades in 12th grade.     • Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria. 
    • First, candidates must complete an online application form on the college's website.
    • Following that, students must sit for a college entrance exam (CIPET-JEE).
    • For the selected candidates, the authorities will issue a counselling cum admission letter.
    • Shortlisted candidates have to participate in the counseling process.
    • The results of an entrance examination, participation in the counseling process, seat assignment, document verification, and fee payment determine the final process of admission.

    CIPET Chennai Admission Process - B.E/B.Tech

    • Candidates must first apply for the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission (TNEA) application, administered by Tamil Nadu Department of Technical Education.
    • The TNEA cutoff is then released by the Tamil Nadu Directorate of Technical Education.
    • The cutoff is determined by the marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in 12th grade, and a ranking list is generated as a result.
    • The TNEA counselling procedure is open to candidates who meet the TNEA cutoff.
    • Candidates are required to attend TNEA counselling based on their standing in the ranking list.
    • After a seat has been assigned, candidates must verify the documents and pay the course fees to complete the CIPET Chennai admission process.

    Central Institute of Plastics Engineering and Technology PG Admissions

    The institute offers 2 postgraduate courses. The PG courses offered by CIPET Chennai are M.Tech Plastics Technology and M.E CAD CAM. The course duration of M.E/M.Tech programmes is 2 years.
