Civil engineering degree from a govt college in Delhi @35k

Overall if you don't wish to have a nice campus life, want some time to prepare for ESE /GATE /IAS. And also don't want to spend a lot on education and get a decent degree in your hand just for the heck of it. So folks! Give IPUCET and get yourself enrolled in this esteemed college. You'll get a lot of free time to follow your passion and if you want to study. Our library is courteous enough to lend you books to study without the faculty. ;-) all the best. But definitely better than other Pvt. Colleges as training Is being provided by the new TPO in charge. Good days of CBPGEC are coming.

The college is great for the students who wants to work in developing their skills along with Btech. IT faculty of this college is very supportive. College is also a local chapter of nptel. The campus has a great architecture. Crowd here is very nice. The college is affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, a state university established by the Government of NCT of Delhi. Ch. Brahm Prakash Government Engineering College is located in Jaffarpur Kalan, South-West Delhi. The 8.5 acre campus is surrounded by Ch. Brahm Prakash Industrial Training Institute and Jawahar Navodaya Vidhyalaya. The college also hosts the EDUSAT facility for teaching via video conferencing. The college has a multi-purpose hall which is fully air conditioned. The college has facilities for various outdoor sports with a field for Cricket, Football, a dedicated Badminton court and a Basketball court. The college library has subscribed to all major national dailies, journals, e-journals, magazines etc. Textbooks and other books related to the field of engineering are available in abundance. The faculty consist of regular (recruited from Union Public Service Commission) and contractual teachers. Guest faculties from sister institutions like Delhi Technological University (formerly Delhi College of Engineering) and Netaji Subhash Institute of Technology occasionally give lectures to students. The college offers Bachelor of Technology degree in the following Undergraduate programme. The college publishes a quarterly newsletter called Expedition which provides a common platform to students, faculty and staff for sharing the experiences, ideas and information about academic events, cultural and sports activities.

Presently I am a first-year student at Ch.Brahm Prakash government engineering college affiliated with GGSIPU. What I came to know about this college is that no one knows about the CBPGEC and about its past . In this college there is a lack of management, placement cell is not there, labs are equipped but there is no utilisation of them, infrastructure is good as it is a government building, location is poor as it situated in village jafferpur near the border of Delhi , lack of convenience, exposure is zero, teachers with higher post make them feel as the lord of the college, delaying in every work is the main Moto of college, government forgot this college after making it, formerly government college, students of third and fourth year year are instinct, for sports proper courts are there with their bad conditions , and till now I found no signs of improvement of this college and if you want a degree of reputed university please join CBPGEC family and don't thing about the campus placement till now,If you want to pursue your career here please do take coaching of languages as you may not get knowledge here.

Half of the subjects have no faculty as if govt. has made these subjects and have forgotten about them. But if you want a tag of govt college at 35000 per year then opt for it. Study yourself and at last, you may take coaching for competitions. You will have a lot of free time unlike other Engg colleges

This college is one of government engineering colleges in delhi fees is only 35000 n dats d only good thing about college. Professor don't take class regularly so u can prepare for competition. For commuting u should either have a car or bike or wait for 817,827 n 835 if u get 827 it seems that u r lucky. This is one of the biggest colleges in IPU but u only get fields there canteen is there but it doesn't look like one. for fun u have tt tables only n no place to roam. So choose wisely. There is no placement in college as it doesn't have a placement cell. hostel is not encamps u have to travel for half hour from hostel

It was a decent college. Nothing great. Could have been much better. It could have been much better . since this college is very new. It opened in 2007 and therefore isn't a very established one. But i sincerely believe that 20 years down the line, it will be a well known name.

Faculties- x Canteen-x (u wont call it a canteen) Hostel-x Extra curricular facilities- Audi for musical events, a playground ploughed annually on d name of maintenance. From a college u xpct placement and administration,it lacks in both. Still atmosphere among students is very good Dats d only cool thing out here, small college lives like a family and even on 20% attendance u can appear in exams means u can prepare fr whatsoever xam u want to prepare for,dis helps out a lot. Guys have got good rank in cat gate gre GMAT. Dats it.

Not functioning like a Governement Engineering College

Posted on 09 Apr' 15 by Shushil Agnihotri
College fees is the issue of attraction for admissions but don't go for this otherwise you will have to face the consequences of having a bad college life. No placement drives take place until we doesn't strike for it. College life is ugliest because of the college location and students don't want to come so far near Haryana Border. No industry exposure of this college although College's Principal is associated in Board of directors of DTU . He is worst seen principal and try to full his pockets from government funds issued for this. Students are haunted by College representatives if they file RTI . So, try to be fare with yourself and keep it a last option in your list.
