No faculty is good or bad it all depends upon your experience with the teacher. One can be very good for someone the same can be bad for the other. So, it all depends upon you experience and also it depends upon the knowledge the faculty has. Every student has a different experience.
Hope this answer helps.
There is a huge difference between all three - Chitkara, CGC and Chandigarh University and and their Engineering programs also differ. Before undertaking Engineering, we need to be sure about the campus, its faculty, programs, environment, placements, etc and it becomes quite confusing when choosing.
However, I would suggest you to thoroughly research on each of them and would advise you to go for Chandigarh University as it is the only NAAC A+ grade accredited institution out of the three. Considering the Northern region of the country, Chandigarh University (CU) has the best NIRF ranking and has the best Engineering programs in comparison to other institutions.
A few reasons to why one should consider CU over others are that they offer courses matching the industry and corporate curriculum, which helps you enter the industry well versed and like a Pro. You Won’t feel as an outsider when you join an organization after your graduation as most of the things are already well-versed with at the campus. Moreover, their placements are impeccable with record number of placement companies visiting every year. Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Deloitte, Walt Disney, TCS, to name a few.
Furthermore, Chandigarh University is partner with more than 200 international top institutions for semester exchange, faculty exchange, internships, etc. This adds great deal of value to your resume while applying for higher studies or working abroad.
cgc landran is comparatively old institution than cgc jhanjheri. it has different blocks for different courses , hostel facility and infrastructure is much better in cgc landhran where cgc jhanjheri is still growing. accommodation is better cgc landhran, faculties are experienced as it established in 2000. campus area of cgc landhran is bigger than cgc jhanjheri.
there’s not much difference in both the universities. But i would say cgc is quite better than ptu jalandhar. It is a more popular college. Also it is located in Chandigarh so you will get more opportunities but the location is not very good as it is located around 20kms far away from Chandigarh. Also ptu is a government college whereas cgc is private so fee is slightly more. So decide accordingly.
Hello candidate. Both the colleges are better in their own way. But compared to CGC landra, Chitkara university is good for CSE. Computer Science Engineering (CSE) is a branch of Engineering which deals with programming and is completely software side. The College has good infrastructure and facilities. The faculty here are well experienced. The college provides peaceful environment to study. The placement cell is good in the college.Top companies visit the campus for recruitment.
The answer to your query is yes, SHRI RAM MURTI SMARAK COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY,LUCKNOW is better than Chandigarh Group of college,Landran In terms of faculties and other aspects too.
the college is also been rated 5 out of 5 by the students who have been there while cgc has 4.2 out of 5 rating.
Both colleges of approved by AICTE but SRMCEM is also accrediated by NBA national board of accrediation.
Hope this may help you.
Chandigarh Group of Colleges Landran is the best choice.
All the deserving students gets placed. Placement record is quite good of CGC. Around 400-500 companies visit the college for placements. This year, a student was offered 31 LPA. In ECE branch, the highest placement package a student can get is 18 LPA. Many companies such as Amazon, Google, HCL, IBM, etc., visit CGC to offer jobs.
One of the best things in Chandigarh Engineering College is its infrastructure. The campus is full of green trees and colorful flowers, which give students feel fresh all the time. There are different blocks on the campus, which are allotted for different courses.
Faculty members in Chandigarh Engineering College are good and knowledgeable. If any student has any problem, they directly meet their faculty and they solve their problems. Also, the faculty members give quality education to students, which help students to create our future and live a better life.
Hope this helps. Good luck!
Being governed by the same management both CU and CGC share a similar intent and objective of achieving global recognition by providing quality teaching-learning environment. So yes …both of them have been working consistently to achieve this goal.
The difference is that affiliated to PTU was set up in 2002 and is the parent institute whereas CU is a private university that came into existence in 2009.
CGC has successfully carved a niche for itself over this period and has proved to be a foremost institute in the northern region being ranked as the Best Engineering College with Excellent Faculty in North India in Asia Education Summit & Awards 2017.
On a similar trend, CU, within a short span of time, has emerged as a distinguished institute committed to offering quality education and has been ranked among Asia’s Best & Fastest Growing Private Universities by WCRC.
This is all because of the fact that both the institutes share identical goals under the leadership of the same managing board. So they are equally concerned for the growth of both CGC and CU and are putting equal efforts for them.
Now the choice is yours where and how you want to pursue your career an affiliated college or from a private university.
