Chouksey Engineering College, Bilaspur Reviews on Infrastructure, Campus, Placement, Facilities & Faculty

It does have all necessary infrastructure and facilities but not equipments. We have very basic classrooms with no wifi, AC and smart boards just conventional board but our laboratories have ACs and smart boards as well as ethernet connection. We do not have any such facility in library and hostel as well. Living spaces are clean but the food is not hygienic.

I am currently pursuing B.Tech in computer science because i want to know more about how these applications and websites that we regularly use works. Quality of teaching is decent. No, i think there is a need to update our curriculum because technologies are evolving day by day and we are lagging behind the others.

Some students got selected in Byju's for 8LPA that's the biggest placement of our college and average is around 1-1.5LPA. Those students belonged to computer science department. Around 60% students get jobs from every batch. The placement process is very easy and our college is very supportive too.

My course costs 60,150 INR per year as of now but i have heard that fee got a significant increase. I think its worth the money i am paying them because these courses are too expensive in other colleges of india.

It has a very small campus which also includes pharmacy college that also belongs to chouksey group of colleges. Also it is right behind the railway track so we constantly get annoying train sounds and train honkings. Students can play various kinds of sports in here like cricket, table tennis, badminton, etc. It is not that safe as i have heard some incidents of student getting beaten by outer people but in my college lifecycle, i have never seen any such incidents so i think its safe now.

It is overall a decent college i think but there are plenty of other choices to consider like LCIT (Lakshmi Chand Institute of Technology), GEC (Government Engineering College) and JK institute of technology.

The college has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities, and equipment. There are around 10+ well-equipped computer labs, college canteen, library, etc every facility is there. The classes are clean and hygienic.

My course is a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science and Engineering as it is the latest trend and our college offers good education about it. The curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments.

The placements are poor in this college as there are very few companies that are visiting here for the college campus placement drive. The average package or salary offered is around 3 LPA which is below average.

The college and courses offered are value for money as the college provides all the facilities which are provided by the top universities/colleges. The college offers scholarships to meritorious students.

Campus life is good as the various events and programs are organized by the college for the students such as festival celebrations, hackathons, etc, The location of the college is on the outskirts of the city which is around 3-4km from the main city and it is safe there.

The overall experience at the college is good, and the course, and curriculum are updated according to the latest trends. The college needs to improve their placements so the students can get high salary jobs.

College infrastructure is good. It has all the necessary facilities which are required such as 10- well equipped Computer labs, seperate labs for hardware,DBMS, and other fields. College campus have wifi everywhere. Library for all, Etc

My course is Computer Science and Engineering as my interest is more towards the Latest technology such as Data Science, AI&ML, Big Data, so this course covers almost everything which is required. The quantity of teaching is good and curriculum is also updated as per the university.

The placements in the college is poor as there's very less companies visited the campus for placement drive in recent years specially after layoffs. The average salary offered to the students is around 3lpa which is very less.

The cost per year for Computer Science and Engineering course is around 80-90k which can be reduced by applying various scholarships scheme. Some students are paying around 50-60k per year also. I feel it's worth it as per the standard of education

The campus life is also good in this college as various events and programs are organised every month for the students such as festivals celebration, hackathons. The teachers and staff is also supportive. The college campus is in outskirts of the City around 3-4km from the main city but it's safe there.

Overall college is good, the courses offered and the curriculum is as per the latest trends, the quantity of teaching is also good . The college needs to focus on the placement and high salary packages.
