i am from bihar and I live In Maharashtra I got 180 Marks in mhtcet 2020 I was not having obc certificate so I have taken central obc certificate from bihar then I will get coep college or not or they will ecxept my obc or not that is my confusion and explain it well
iiit Jabalpur mechanical vs coep Maharashtra electronics or mechanical coep which is better
Both public/government institutes are very neck to neck in terms of the facilities provided and infrastructure or in terms of NIRF ranking or infrastructure. However, I would suggest you to look for COEP.
College of Engineering, Pune is one of the oldest established Institutes of the city for engineering as it came to existence since 1854, while IIIT Jabalpur is a relatively new Institute. COEP has broader alumni network and therefore a very good astute faculty members since many many years teaching in the institute.
IIIT Jabalpur has an edge over COEP in terms of facilities provided like better hostel facilities and surrounding and convenience store.
COEP has less fees than IIIT Jabalpur as it charges an amount close to 3.6 lakhs for graduation whereas the latter Institute charges a sum of 5.6 lakhs. Furthermore, in terms of placement, the former Institute( 7.7 lakhs) is slightly better than that of the latter Institute (7.3 lakhs per annum). Moreover, COEP is a better ranked Institute than IIIT Jabalpur by the slightest of margins. It has even greater intake of students and candidates can apply for its admission both through JEE MAINS as well as MHT CET.
As far as mechanical or Electronics is concerned, it always depends on the interest of the candidate. In terms of placement, the average salary offered is same, although the intake of students for mechanical engineering department is twice that of Electronics (120 vs 60), so you have better chance there in getting admission.
Choose that college which suits your interests more. Good luck.
can I get direct admission in the second year at coep pune for b tech course . If I did my btech first year from some other college.
There is a option for changing of course or colleges for 2nd year only if the other college which your willing to join should have seat for your course and also few colleges see your marks to change of course or colleges. It's better to contact directly with the college and talk so that if they have seat they will provide you to get admission.
Hope this information helps,
Best of luck.

Im getting VNIT ECE through JoSAA counselling last round and getting 187 marks in MHTCET 2020 ,though result not out yet,I want to ask you that if i get CoEP CS then what do i choose????
Well, the placements of COEP are astonishingly very good!, and also CSE is the top notch demand for the students as well as the future... So, My suggestion would be, if you get a seat in COEP then must consider it over VNIT Nagpur ECE branch, as the highest placement of COEP in 2020 was 39 Lpa, and 60 students are already placed out of 80, and in VNIT Nagpur, the placements ECE are not even near the placements of COEP,
Yes the rankings of VNIT are better than COEP, but the academics, placements, and college life is actually which matters... and based on that, COEP will be my suggestion
So choose wisely,
hope this helps, and feel free to ask any further query...
What is highest package offered by a company to CSE student at CoEP in 2020( i.e. Latest) ????
The Highest Package offered to a CSE student in Placement Season of 2019 at College of Engineering Pune was 33.5 LPA by Goldman Sachs. CSE has more than 90% Placements at COEP with excellent infrastructure, faculty and research facilities.

What is the Tier of COEP? Which is better COEP vs NIT Srinagar?
As far as reputation and ranking is concerned, COEP is arguably better than NIT Srinagar.
There are a few factors for such things:
- College establishment and ranking
- Academics and faculty
- Placements and internships
- College culture and diversity
- very well established (one of the oldest Engineering colleges in India)
- Placements are great (approx. 7 lacs per annum avg. salary offered for SCE branch in 2019)
- Ranking wise, COEP is better than NIT Srinagar if you exclude the allure of the NIT tag
- College culture is far better than Srinagar with more diversity, a big city experience and many events to look forward to.
- It commands a natural respect being an NIT
- Placements are great with avg. packages for most core branches ranging around 8 lacs per annum.
- As far as college culture is concerned, things are a bit lacking as NIT Srinagar is not much of an active participating college in national events.
Hope it helps,
Can I get Computer engineering in coep general category as I scored 179 in mht cet 2020.
I belong to general category and I scored 179 in mhtcet 2020 can I get cse at coep?
179 is really good score with this score you have chances of getting seat in COEP .
Although cut off varies every year, depending upon no of students appearing, qualifying, no of seats available, last year's trends, difficulty level of exam and so on.
You have chances of getting seat.
Previous year's cut off
Civil: 156 score
Electrical engineering: 169
Electronics and telecommunications: 170
So cut off keeps changing every year.
