Datta Meghe Institute of Engineering Technology and Research (DMIETR), Wardha was established by Hon. Shri. Dattaji Meghe and his two sons, Hon. Shri. Sagarji Meghe and Hon. Shri. Sameerji Meghe in the year 2008. The Institute is recognised by the Government of Maharashtra and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). DMIETR offers undergraduate (BE) and postgraduate (MBA) courses in various areas. The Institute is affiliated to the Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University.

DMIETR is located at Sawangi, Maharashtra. Wardha Junction is around 6 km away and will take around 15 minutes to reach the College by car.
