Dayanand College of Law was founded by Dayanand Education Society in 1971. The College was initially affiliated to Marathwada University, Aurangabad. Since 1995 the college is affiliated to Swami Ramanand Teerth Marathwada University, Nanded. The College is recognized by the UGC Act and by the Bar Council of India. The College is located in a the campus of the Society with a separate building allotted for the Law College.
Location: The Dayanand College of Law is located at Barshi Rd, Prakash Nagar, Latur, Maharashtra. It is about 5 km away from the Latur Railway Station and 35 km away from the Latur Bus Stand. It is about 14 km away from Latur International Airport. The college is easily accessible by bus and road transport.

Admission process for LL.B three-year degree course:
The candidates have to appear for online MAH-LLB 3 year CET exam conducted by the Directorate of Higher Education, Pune.
MAH-LLB 3 year CET qualified candidates will have to register for counselling process by filling up Centralised Admission Form along with College option and upload the required documents.

Ph.D in Law:
The college has the facility of the library, hostel, canteen and auditorium. It also provides facilities of sports to promote physical and extracurricular activities among students. It also provides the mock courtroom for the students to practice the court session in a practical way.
Library: Library has a vast collection of volumes, which includes textbooks and reference books. It has computerized all its housekeeping activities using Library software. This enables users in searching and availing the library resources. It has the facility of Open Access System and Soul base circulation.
Hostel: The College has a girls hostel facility. It is provided with biometric attendance of girls, security system, CCTV surveillance, spacious entrance hall, parking slots, and solar system. It also provides nutritious food.
Canteen: A full-fledged canteen is functioning within the campus for the convenience of the staff and students.
Auditorium: The auditorium can accommodate about 500 audiences at a time. It has the facility of a sound reinforcement system and video conferencing facility. Projection facilities for films, slides, large screen videos and multimedia presentation are also available in the hall.
Sports: The college has indoor and outdoor sports facilities. Indoor games like carrom, table tennis, chess are available on the campus. The college has a well-furnished football field and cricket fields. It also has a hockey field, handball, volleyball and badminton court.
NSS: NSS department link Higher Education with the Socio-Economic Conditions of the Society & conduct activities for the welfare of the weaker section of the society. NSS volunteers conduct a variety of activities, such as Blood Donation, HIV-AIDS Awareness, Family Life Education, Functional Literacy, Help for the Visually Impaired, College Campus Cleanliness, Socio-Economic Skill Development and Leadership and Personality Development, Senior Citizens’ Welfare Project, and social awareness besides helping allied agencies/NGOs.
Moot Court: The College provides the mock courtroom for the students to practice the court session in a practical way.
Alumni Association: Alumni association meets once in a year. Alumni who are working in the various institutes and courts regularly inform the college about the requirement of the sector.
Women Grievance Cell: The cell is committed to the elimination of all forms of discrimination against women and takes active steps towards gender sensitization and elimination of sexual harassment.
Walking track: The College has the facility of the walking track which promote walking for a healthy lifestyle.
