Admissions to the diploma programmes in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering ,Electrical Engineering,Computer Science & Engineering and Information Technology are done through Pre-polytechnic Test (PPT), usually conducted by PROFESSIONAL EXAMINATION BOARD (PEB,www.peb.mp.gov.in) , Bhopal in the month of April every year. The admission to diploma programme in Textile Technology is on the basis of merit from the marks obtained by the candidate in the qualifying examination (10th pass with min 40% marks for general category and pass marks for SC/ST/OBC category from M.P. Board of Secondary Education , Bhopal or its equivalent). The admission forms are available for sale in all polytechnics from 16th June and last date is 30th June that is sometimes extended. The admissions are open to bonafide resident of Madhya Pradesh(except for wards of Military Personnel and persons displaced from Jammu & Kashmir as per conditions laid down in PPT and Non-PPT booklets (online or print).
