FET MRIIRS Admission Details: Eligibility, Dates, Application, Fees

The admissions of FET MRIIRS are offered at the undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels. The streams in which these courses are offered are computer applications, engineering, architecture, IT, animation, design and sciences. FET MRIIRS admissions to undergraduate courses except B.Tech are offered on the basis of marks obtained SAT/MRNAT/10+2 qualifying examination. FET MRIIRS admissions to B.Tech programmes are offered on the basis of marks obtained in JEE Main/SAT/MRNAT/10+2 qualifying examination. FET MRIIRS admissions to postgraduate courses except M.Tech are offered on the basis of marks obtained in graduation/ score of MRNAT. FET MRIIRS admissions to M.Tech courses are offered on the basis of GATE score/marks obtained in graduation. The admissions to the Ph.D. programmes are offered on the basis of a written test and participation in the personal interview conducted by the university. Candidates who have qualified UGC-NET/ UGC-CSIR NET/ GATE/ M.Phil are exempted from the written test. They must appear directly for an interview.

FET MRIIRS Admissions to Undergraduate Courses

FET MRIIRS offers a total of 22 courses in various disciplines. The duration of the courses is three to four years. The eligibility criteria and the seats for all the UG courses are given below:

FET MRIIRS Admission Procedure to B.Tech Courses

• Candidates must appear for JEE Main/SAT/Uni Gauge/MRNAT.

• Candidates must fill the FET MRIIRS online application form.

• Merit list is prepared on the basis of JEE Main/SAT/Uni Gauge/MRNAT.

• Shortlisted candidates must appear for counselling and seat allotment round.

• The final admissions are only offered after document verification and payment of the admission fees.   

FET MRIIRS Admission Procedure to B.Sc. Courses

• Candidates must appear for SAT/MRNAT.

• Candidates must fill the online application form of the institute.

• Merit list is prepared based on the SAT/MRNAT/10+2 qualifying marks.

• Selected candidates must appear for the university level counselling process.

• Shortlisted candidates must take admission after paying the admission fees and getting their documents verified. 

FET MRIIRS Admissions to Postgraduate Courses

A total of 9 courses in various disciplines are offered at the postgraduate level. The duration of the courses is two years. The eligibility criteria and the seats for all the PG courses are given below:

FET MRIIRS Admission Procedure to M.Sc. Courses

• Candidates must appear for MRNAT.

• Candidates must fill the FET MRIIRS online application form.

• The merit list is prepared based on the MRNAT/previous qualifying examination score. 

• Selected candidates must appear for the university level counselling process.

• The final admissions are only offered to the candidates after document verification and payment of the admission fees.   

FET MRIIRS Admission Procedure to M.Tech Courses

• Candidates must appear for GATE.

• Candidates must submit the FET MRIIRS online application form.

• GATE scores/ marks obtained in graduation are used to prepare the merit list.

• Selected candidates must appear for the university level counselling process.

• Shortlisted candidates must get their documents verified and pay the admission fees for final admission.

FET MRIIRS Admissions to Doctoral Courses

A total of 10 courses in various disciplines are offered at the doctoral level. The duration of the Ph.D courses is six years. The eligibility criteria for all the Ph.D courses are as follows:

• Candidates must fill the application form on the website of the university.

• Candidates must appear for an entrance test, followed by an interview.

• It must be noted that candidates who have qualified UGC- NET (including JRF)/ UGC-CSIR NET (including JRF)/ SLET/ GATE/ M. Phil. are exempted from the entrance test.

• Selected candidates have to complete the admission process by verifying the documents and paying the admission fees.
